We hear from time to time strange psychological illnesses that we hardly believe in real, and science has recently added an issue that is not uncommon in this regard. Did you know that disturbing the sounds of chewing food is actually a psychological disease in itself?
People who are very irritated to the point of anger by high-pitched sounds have been found to have a mental / psychotic condition called misophonia, according to recent research at Newcastle University.
The disease is not limited to the sounds of chewing!
What is remarkable is that Misovonia not only affects the sounds of chewing food, but also the inability to tolerate any particular sound, passing a spoon or fork on pots, breathing loudly, or crackling fingers.
This disorder has been demonstrated through clinical research, showing that a specific part of the brain reacts remarkably to all people with this condition, despite the different motivational sounds.
Also, it was noticed that the heart beat was significantly accelerated, as well as sweating when hearing the stimulus.
This is perhaps the first time this feeling has been classified as a confirmed mental disorder. But before you get scared if you face this problem, reassure you that categorizing does not mean you are mentally ill and need treatment, but are more common than you think, and need no intervention, except in extreme cases that run counter to normal life!
