SUCCESS is a the deadliest drug?

in life •  5 years ago

Of all drugs that change consciousness, in this world there is no drug that would be worse than success.

He even in very small doses can turn people into absolute ass.

Yesterday, a man understood that life is a very difficult thing. In life there are difficulties that are stronger than you. In life there are circumstances of force majeure.

The world is also unfair and good people suffer. And then this man was promoted / he won the lottery / inherited from a wealthy grandmother. Man is changing.

Alas, the demigod sometimes appears in his place, which, unlike most, "SOMETHING WAS ACHIEVED".

"Well, I was able to do this, why can't they?" - the demigod asks sadly.

The problems of the world no longer need to be addressed. You just have to be like this person.

Now charitable foundations instead of humanitarian aid send photos to starving orphans with the inscription: "Just be like him!"

It would seem that the demigod should understand that everyone cannot be like him.

That all people are different. That we all have different priorities, opportunities, situations.

That, after all, not everyone is as good as you. Yes, we have to admit you're good. But if everyone were so good, you would not have received your winnings, would you?

If, when discussing a problem, you come across an argument: "I don’t have such a problem. Why can't people just be like me?" - then you know, you are dealing with a demigod. Angels are already talking to him.

You have nothing to talk about with him.

You're saying success is to be avoided? People who are deemed, or perceived to be successful also?

This was not about that. I do not deny success and do not urge him to avoid. Here we are talking about the fact that not every person is ready for success and can objectively perceive reality if he has become successful. All his previous problems become far and incomprehensible, he often begins to judge people by himself and in some cases becomes a hypocrite.
Success is great, but it requires responsibility and strength to accept it in such a way as not to deform your personality.
