Steemfat: Progress pictures week 10 - Getting stronger every week.

Steemfat is the name for my journey to get in shape for steemfest 2.

Another week, another five gym sessions finished.

Again I have been concentrating on my legs more than anything else this week.

Legs have big muscles so I'm hoping this will burn some extra calories.

It led to a new record on the Legpress. 120KG x 10 x 4.

3 weeks to go till Steemfest!

Food this week


I like to post about food that I'm proud of or had fun making but it's of course not all I eat. It's all about balance. So between all the good food post, I do eat normal food. Here are some pictures.

  1. A salad with feta cheese.
  2. Pumpkin Soup
  3. Smoked chicken salad with 2 petas.

You've done a great job with your workouts and diet man. It's truly an amazing thing that when you put your mind to something, achievements follow. So simple in theory, but doing it every day is the hard part, and you've done a helluva job.

The bodily transformation is incredible, but I imagine you just "feel" a whole lot better physically. I meant to ask you last time you posted your progress pictures if you feel you have a lot more energy than before? I know when I let my exercise and diet slip for any significant period of time that's the first place I feel it. My energy level drops off dramatically.

The look you're making with the salad brought a smile to my face. I'm with ya man, don't much care for that stuff but we have to keep it light. Just something to tide you over until you get to have some real food, lol.

Great job again man and you and Bianca enjoy the rest of your weekend.

@exyle if you want to burn calories, training your legs it's a good way, Legpress it's not a good idea, there are other's leg exercise that you can do and burn more calories, such as Barbell Deadlift, Barbell Squat, and Dumbbell Lunges. Avoid machine exercises like Legpress, all the exercises I told you, exercise the legs and the core at the same time, they are more efficient in reducing weight.

wow fantastic improvements my friend, your body looks a lot tighter than before, waist also reduced and your belly almost disappears as your arms are also looks in shape than before so i think your hard work really paid off and you are progressing well and i also like to say that along with healthy food water is also play an very important role to maintain the body shape, by drinking 2 to 3 liters of water in a day really helps to maintain belly and eliminate extra fats, i hope you are drinking a good amount of water also, wishing you a fantastic steemfest2 ahead, enjoy your weekend and stay awesome.

Hey mate, great share! I will cheer on you as I'm having similar goals for myself at the moment as well - I'm a little bit more advanced, but I have struggled with motivation greatly recently, so we both have a lot to do :)

The regular food looks good too. Nice and healthy. You have done an amazing job in 10 weeks! Keep up the good work.

It's good to see that you're not skipping leg day, which most people like to skip.
Keep in mind that if you have longer femurs(thighs), you should pay closer attention to your form during predominantly leg exercises like squats and leg presses. I'm guessing that a tall guy like you might have trouble performing squats deep/ATG (ass to grass). That's when you should consider adjusting your form. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the advice. It's been suggested I try different exercises. I'll keep your words in mind.

@exlye your were really doing great job sometime we are not able to do that just beacuse we easily give up! But it's really appreciated things for you never give up! I just saw in your post you regularly maintaining your diet sheet I feel it's really hard to away from spicy food! But you did it congrats man for these achievements!

Wow man Its really great motivation for every fat person that we can change ourselves yet we just need to realize that the only one step that will make us change to stand up and just do it ! and we can do it ! like you did it why not everyone ? everyone can do that ! just one step up and yeah you will find how you will get yourself changed ! :) Great motivation man @exyle I really love to go gym :) ;) i hope your msg helps many fat people to control on diet as you said " Smoked chicken salad with 2 petas " thats really powerful :)

Are you going to diet while at Steemfest, or for those couple days are you going to relax and have fun?

Steemfest will be all about fun :)

HIIT training and carb loading - take a look into it @exyle, it's interesting stuff and it does work! I'm not such a big fan of fancy dieting or having to calculate too many things so the carb loading didn't work for me but HIIT training is really good and it feels hardcore too!

I'm by no means a personal trainer, I'm purely speaking from my experience. I'm currently training full time in a fighting gym in Barcelona (long story, it's not my usual gig).

I would suggest you scrap the idea that you should focus on one part of you body. Instead try doing way more intense training sessions, maybe dial back how much you go, or the time you spend at each session, and introduce longer rest periods.

nicely workout and your improvement is awsome.impressive and attractive look.
I have tip for you, if you daily running only 15 minutes and after that 4 sprints of 50,50 meters, then you got very astonishing results only after 4 weaks. any how i support and appreciate you, keep it up man.

Great job! Getting Jacked Ripped And Tan!

One thing that I've heard that works well are barbell/dumbbell complexes. I stumbled on a video on YouTube and I'm itching to try it out as soon as I can start working out again.
