If you haven’t seen the interview with Mitchell Loureiro (Steemit marketing guy) yet (click here) I highly recommend you watch it if you are interested in the potential of the Steem blockchain.
Watching the interview, I was once reminded that investing in Steem has a very good chance of becoming the best investment of my life.
Yesterday for Easter I took Bianca to this nice Italian restaurant. She snapped this picture there. I like it.
Investing emotions
I have never stopped believing in Steem as a technology and have put my money where my mouth is. I have bought Steem gradually since July 2016. I have never powered down.
This wasn’t always easy. Funnily enough because of Steemit the blogging platform. With most other projects I’m invested in, you don’t get this much direct input from users.
On Steemit my thoughts about investing in Steem can lead to an amazing buzz feeling or total depression depending on the sentiment of the community.
I’m not joking. I wrote about this before, I am financially and emotionally invested in Steem(it).
The only reason I kept investing is because I can see the potential in the Steem blockchain 5 years from now.
I think about this every single day.
A small regret I have is not buying more Steem at $0.07. (lol, in hindsight it's all so easy) But my trading strategy didn’t allow me to buy more.
At least I will be able to say one day, 'I bought STEEM at $0.07'
Personally, I don’t think that price will come back anytime soon.
Future investment
I got some liquid Steem that I like to Powerup but right now I haven’t found a good reason to do so.
As soon as the curation rewards come back I’m sure it will be powered up. I simple like investments that generate revenue just by having them too much.
As for investing more into Steem. I’m on the fence at the moment. Steem (like most alts) has gone up a lot and is now bouncing between 20 and 22 cents.
I’m still investing but with a little less fiat until it has found a clearer direction. The fact I already have a decent amount helps.
It's an alt party atm on the exchanges. BTC is also strong.
At first, I was worried that the development team was not doing enough for the users but I was wrong. They are doing everything to make the Steem blockchain better and secure in the background and they are taking their time.
Mitchell has a long-term vision and I like that. This interview made me feel very positive.
Steem on!

I am very happy to collect my daily little rewards and never powered down . I power up all the time. I liked reading your personal experience and yes I believe in investing in this platform. I am not into trading because I need to keep my gambler nature in check.

Thank you. I also like the collect button it gives a sense of interaction that I enjoy. I trade sometimes but mostly I just buy and hold. Buy and hold is not trading it's investing and with Steem this is a good tactic imho.

Thank you, that's very nice of you to say. Bianca says I should try Vlogging about crypto but I'm unsure about that. What I love about Steem is that you don't have to invest fiat to earn Steem. That so powerful.

I have written many stories that didn't earn a penny or gotten comments. It's all about not giving up, keep going and create content you enjoy creating. Keep at it and it will only get better.

Steemit is my first in crypto. Still learning about other as well. Vlogging, why not? I see you're having good time infront of camera. Maybe you should listen to Bianca or maybe cute Sam can help to be the guest star. :)

The interview was reassuring! Glad Mitchell and Adam shared it with ALL of us. As far as .07 cents STEEM again, I saw it as low as .05 cents on here our Currency Market a few months ago! :)))
May I suggest 3 rules and strategy???
