STEEMFEST 1 was one of the best weekends of my life.
From expecting absolutely nothing to going home on Sunday feeling ecstatic. The event had blown me away in a way I never thought possible.
It was so extremely well organized and the people there were amazing. I made friends there that I speak to on Steemit daily but also on the phone talking crypto almost every week.
It was Steemfest that made Steemit and the community really come alive for me.
I seriously can't wait to experience it all over again.
I booked tickets from 1 November till 6 November. Even without exactly knowing what will be organized and how.
I already know it will be perfect.

The key element that made last year's Steemit so incredibly special was the fact that no one had any preconceived expectations. We as a collective all adventured into the unknown. The most info any of us had was that it was being organised by the now legendary @roelandp. That was it.
So to experience, from my point of view at least, one of the greatest times of my life was as surreal and beautiful as it gets. Such preparation, unity and positivity from start to finish. Unlike anything I've ever witnessed.
So, it goes without saying that I'll be doing my damnedest to get my ass over there and relive it all over again. You were also one of the main reasons I loved the Steemfest so much, therefore that booking confirmation from you gives me even more conviction to force things to work out from my side.
What an uplifting post, @exyle. Thanks so much and if I can make the stars align in exactly the same formation as the last time, I'll be seeing you at the next Steemfest in November, my brother!

Wow, super excited. I was just checking travel requirements to Lisbon from Philippines and it turns to be tricky. Aside from financial constraints, I might have a problem with the embassy. Hopefully things will be alright.

Being physically there is a different thing. Its more special than just eatching it online. You know what I mean. The joy, excitement and all the good feelings of being there, meeting people, meeting steemians.

A lot of people are excited about steemfest 2! The prior pictures looked great! It sure would be nice to meet everyone in person, but dont know if dates will work out. I am glad streaming will be available, but obviously not the same as being there in person and an excuss to visit another country! :)
