An Idyllic Woodland Area in the Heart of... London?

I always try to get in a morning walk at one of our local parks. Usually, I adopt the "round-robin" approach. But passing this particular section today, kinda stunned me. Really beautiful and picturesque. Of course, growing up in London and getting used to the "traditional" colour schemes of black and white, I had no idea that places I've grown so accustomed to thinking I know, can take on such a different meaning in a certain light.

This park holds many memories for me. Of people near and dear to me, whether they are still with us or not. When I was much younger, this was how I remembered this exact scene. The sun streaming down from above with not a care in the world. So, seeing this really brought back fond reminders of those "much-missed" times in my life.

I've also recently started following a blogger on YouTube who has sadly been diagnosed with terminal cancer. Dealing with all these new problems in his life is one thing, but where does he find some form of solace in face of this utter horror? At the beauty that his surroundings offer. He mentions many times in his videos, about forgetting to take in how extraordinarily beautiful the sea is, which also happens to be right next to where he lives. Or of the smell of fresh air on a warm summers day. And that's one thing I always have tend to remind myself of.

Never overlook the "small miracles" we take for granted each and every day. Give thanks and gratitude, whatever religion you many follow. Life is a truly wonderful thing so treasure every second and try to make the most out of it...

Defo, buddy. Reflecting on past memories so something I savour to the max, as there's so much happiness contained there.

Waiting for your next PUBG stream and i hope last night you managed to kill more people 😅

Lol! That's another story although. Maybe I need some training from yourself! :)

Hahah goad to give you some training and by the way i just finished my PUBG match and guess what i won again with 19 Kills in a single match.🤣

I summit to you, grand master!!! :)

😅 Haha, maybe we can play this together Someday.

It's true that we forget to take a moment in our busy lives and connect with nature and embrace the perfect surroundings that mother nature has to offer.

I'm also one person that appreciates such moments as you have. It's beautiful.

Much appreciated, @busybeing. Taking some time from the stresses and strains of "everyday" life, is a must for me. :)

Life is very short, we have to try make full of it. We should not distinct ourselves through color, religion or country. Hope, most of the people have same mentality like you. World would be better place to live.

Many thanks, bro. Looks like you and I see things as alike as you can get. :)

This is really good to meet someone like you.

You are right, if you know you are going to regret not doing it, not saying it, not taking a shot of it, anything in the future. Then do it now. Yesterday, I saw what it means to get close to death, the wing was blowing and a tree feel just some inch away from my room. I was standing by the walls when it happens, if it had fallen half a never closer, the walls would have dropped on my head.

Whoa! Close call, my brother! Glad you didn't get injured. But yes, that just goes to show the fragility of our present existence.

You are right dear @lordjames and thanks to @ezzy

Very well said @ezzy. At the end of the day it is the small things in our lives that matter...

Yes, @rea! The smallest creatures in my life have meant the most. :)

So short this post is, and so much it fulfills me.

Dealing with a life-threating situation always changes something within you. The way you see life itself, changes.

In my case, it changed for good.

Thanks, man, for the memories. :)

That's wonderful. This beautiful place filled with green trees and that too in the heart of London. It's very unlikely yet gorgeous.

open nature, or more precisely planting hujau can calm our minds due to a full day in work. thanks @ezzy
