With the latest update to ver. 0.9 about a week and a half ago, Dtube-based development has been nothing short of explosive. And partnering up with ScotTube allows for the adoption of the highly anticipated "communities" feature in terms of content discovery and channel building. All very exciting stuff, I hope you'd agree. One of my passions in life is gaming. Dunno why, but it's a hobby I don't think I'll ever tire of. So imagine my absolute delight when I found out about the launch of Battletube.io yesterday...
Oh yes! One of my favourite subjects is being taken on via this glorious new addition to the emerging "Dtube" eco-system. Already the content is starting to pour in. Damn, this blockchain will become a veritable utopia by the time market sentiment turns for the crypto. As I've said all along, it's OK to be down about the STEEM price (along with everything else out there) at the moment, but that means you're only looking at a very small piece of the pie. Solid developmental pushes and market space validity are by far the priority right now. Marketcap rankings are gonna get jostled around faster than a pinball machine on steroids in the future, so preferably you wanna be offering something special to the baying masses when demand returns. And believe me that sentiment will change, with a vengeance.
Battletube.io has just launched, with mass interest in this type of content being consumed like hot cakes, on a daily basis. Just look at the figures from Twitch to find out. I mean, 15 million daily active users? Apparently stats reveal it's bigger than the movie and music markets combined. Of course, we're just at the very beginning of this journey so the word "competition" doesn't even come into it right now, but that goes for the entire crypto space really. The whole thing is one humongus "work-in-progress". So we can safely still call ourselves "early adopters" to the crypto space overall.
The familiar layout of the "Dtube" homepage allows for easy navigation to the content you want to see. I'm a huge fan of streamed video games so look forward to a plethora of upcoming "Let's play's" to watch. The battle token is currently trading on Steem-Engine which is also great to see. More and more Dapps are getting released and tokenised, thus adding to the overall vision we see becoming a reality. Real exciting times up ahead.
