Etymologically, the word "decide" makes us think of cutting, separating, ditching. Its composition refers to a selective separation. The decision is the result of a mental-cognitive process in which after comparing different possibilities a is chosen.

It is the process in which man strives to understand the cause and effect of each of the opinions proposed to try to choose one that meets the conditions that he considers necessary for his life project. It is a choice.

That is to say, we could affirm minimally that the understanding of the selective process of the decision implies dimensions of rationality, emotionality, and spirituality. A process not simple, although many times we simplify it in appearances.

How many times do human beings prefer not to make a decision that frees them from certain relationships, situations, or consequences for fear of losing what they have for fear of not knowing what the future will bring or, more specifically, for fear of loneliness or to lose some comforts, is when it is worth thinking again that a decision has the power to generate worlds and new lives that can be enjoyed.

That is why we have to learn to decide and to understand well what we do when we say yes or no, to a proposal that life brings us.

The deepest decisions of our being can not be made by others, in that we are irreplaceable.
As much as they want to interrupt others, there are decisions that belong only to us. I know that the social system, in which we live, wants us more and more independently less and less free with what we do or what we are, but the important thing is to exercise our capacity, being aware and that we have to defend it from all even of samples disabilities and comforts. Therefore, the phrases "have the courage to serve your own understanding" are known.

A good decision always allows a good life, there is no magic, but ability to decide. There are no strangers, but minds and hearts capable of doing it.
