I was going through @surpassinggoogle post and i came across this phrase
''Keep on knocking! And if your knuckles tire out and repent; pick a stone! So i keep on knocking! ''

That line motivated me a lot....And if i may ask....

How do you understand that phrase?

If you ask me, i will say it's about one being persistence and determined in whatever you do. instead of giving up keep on pushing...

Perseverance is a great element of success. If you only knock long enough and loud enough at the gate, you are sure to wake up somebody.

Ever heard about the rose that grew from a crack in the concrete? Proving nature's laws wrong, it learned to walk without having feet. Funny, it seems to by keeping it's dreams; it learned to breathe fresh air. Long live the rose that grew from concrete when no one else even cared.

There is nothing in the world that can take the place of persistence. Talent can never and will not; i've never seen something more common in the world than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not and will never; genius and being unrewarded is almost a proverb. Even education will not; we have a world full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan keep knocking and press On! has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race. Even the bible says ''knock and it shall be open''

There's always a time we face hard times, i mean when the going gets tough. Your smooth ride suddenly begins feeling bumpy and rough. The good times are nowhere to be found, it’s all rather gruff. So you let out a sigh and exclaim – “I’ve had enough”

No one is saying you can't gripe and moan at times, asking yourself what’s happening to my life?. When your backpack seems weighed down, by a very big stone. The BIG question should be, how do I move away, from this miserable zone?

When a curved ball hits you, through a trick or a con. Remember the good days, when the sun always shone. Go forward with the belief, that you already have won. The best advice I can give, is to keep on - keeping on

Ever sine the human history, in any great endeavour requiring the common effort of many nations and men and women everywhere, we have learned that - it is only through hard work, seriousness of purpose and persistence that we ultimately carry the day. We might liken it to riding a bicycle. You will always stay upright and move forward so long as you keep up the momentum.

The most essential factor in life is persistence - having the determination never to allow your energy or enthusiasm to be dampened by the discouragement that must inevitably come.
I've known entrepreneurs who were not great salespeople, or didn't know how to code, or were not particularly charismatic leaders. But I don't know of any entrepreneurs who have achieved any level of success without persistence and determination.

If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.
Your hardest times often lead to the greatest moments of your life. Keep going. Tough situations build strong people in the end.
