La Nina
Well, we just recorded some of the hottest temperature on this blue marble since keeping records for the past 137 years, breaking all kinds of heat indexes throughout the world, with some temp's hitting as high as 129.2 degrees F. (Kuwait, 7/21/16), that is HOT!
With Godzilla (2016 El Nino) behind us, will G's little sister come to play?
There are many predictions saying yes, we are in the pattern for wetter/colder North, dryer South or a La Nina season. There are others however predicting a milder La Nina which would set us up for a "Normal" winter pattern, whatever that is anymore. I'm sure by October we will be locked in and ready for what lay's ahead, either scrambling for erosion control or prepping for another drought.
