Reflections

I woke up this morning,
with these words from my 4-year old grandson:
“Sorry, Lola. I peed on the trash can.
I didn’t want to wet my clothes
I didn’t want to wet the bed.”
What response can I give to this little kid?
A smile, a hug, a kiss on the head.

Why these little children have a way to our hearts.
Their mischiefs are but innocent acts.
“My dear little boy, don’t do it again.
Or else our room will smell like urine.”

When Jesus told us to come to Him
And be as little children.
With faith, with trust, filled with confidence.
No question is asked for every promise heard.
To them every promise is as good as RECEIVED.

So beginning TODAY, let us check our heart
Do we come to our FATHER, to His throne as a child
“Sorry, Father, I wet my pillow with TEARS.
I forgot You’re my Father, I should be without FEARS.
