Remember the Alamo

I just finished watching the classic version movie with John Wayne. I think this is a fitting movie on this weekend. John Wayne portrayed Davy Crockett in The Alamo. John Wayne believed in the same republican values that Davy Crockett did. Even though I have seen this movie several times I still found a couple nuggets that IMO sure fit us today

I for one seem to believe that the unseen war is starting to leak into the seen world. Kinda like when the prophet Daniel was shown the future after he spent time studying the scrolls of Jeremiah. He was told to roll up the scroll for a time when the power of Gods people is low and evil gets a stronghold and there will be some with the eyes and ears to understand. Watch the next clip so in your future when you have to decide between good or evil, are you going to be dead as coonskin hat or.....

Now to leave you with something you might or might not of known. What some are calling the rebel flag was in truth called the Southern Cross. A simple goggle search can validate this. This was carried by Davy Crokett and the TN volunteers during the War. Now anyone who watches Beverly Hillbillies would of known this because we all know where Granny stood. What most don't know is Davy Crokett was a Senator and when he heard wha was happening in TX left the Senate floor recalled the volunteers and headed to TX. This group even knowing it was most likely a suscide mission still most likely proudly carried this flag to fly at the Alamo.
