Freedom Over Salary

in life •  7 years ago

Along my travel today I began to think about the luxury of time that I have. I took the moment to be thankful for the time I have for the day along with all of it's riches it contain.

I remember back in the day, I was so anxious for a job, but the more interview I got the more excuses I would get. It was infuriating to know I just wasted my time and money to travel to west bubble f*** for an excuse. if I wanted an excuse i'll ask someone out on a date.

After years and money wasted on if, ands or maybes;

I decided to walk away from the Job Market and start doing things my way. I now live by my own rules and make as much as i want and I'm truly graceful for all the knowledge i've acquired over the years.

I noticed whenever I took matters into my own hands, I got result instead of relying on a boss for my money. Once I notice how capable I was at making money, I never looked back at a job again.

I prefer my freedom rather than a 9-5, mainly because with my free time I can learn more ways to make money in under an hour. Now that I've gotten smarter the ideal of a minimum wage job is a joke to me especially if I can make double the amount they are offering.

Now if I was to go back in the Job Market, I would be expensive mainly because I bring results and I have better things to do with my time that pays me.

The best part about working for myself is that there is

no downsizing
only promotions
no job interview
no drug test
I set the rules
I pay myself

Thus making a Boss useless

Belief:

A salary job limits your financial intelligence, when you think about it. It's hard to expand your mind when your most active hours of the day is 9-5, which is your WHOLE entire day. So within that 8 hours of a typical job, you have learned nothing. Thus causing you to go back to your boss for overtime (if you're lucky to even get that). The more i'm able to provide for myself the less I will need other people. If I can get it myself, why would I need people?

Thank you! The phenomenon we’re all stuck in, nicely called by Kiyosaki ‘the Rat Race’.. You get a job, go to work for 50 years everyday while having no free time or energy to build anything else. Well done for getting out!

Thank you
