Hello my steemian friends,
Today I would like to share my journey story as a Cabin Crew. Since I was a kid the job of an AirHostess was highly fascinating to me. Traveling from one place to another, meeting new people everyday , seeing a new destination was really exciting for me. But it’s always not so easy to get through this job profile. Even I struggled for 2years to get through my first airline job.
It was like a dream come true. Back in 2013 I started my journey for a whole new life which I was waiting for a long time. But then came the reality check. It wasn’t as easy as it seemed from outside. The job has too many other spheres other than traveling and seeing new places. The worst was the training phase. I felt as if I am back in school. Exams, group discussions, assignments made us tired by the end of the days. But we also had some fun parts as well. Was glad to make some new friends there.
Out of 21 selected people only 9 of us could clear the 3months training and exams and we came out with flying colors.
And then the journey began at 38,000ft.
From then I never looked back, was in love with my life and job.
My airline was one of the best low cost domestic airline in India.
Obviously, working as a cabin crew has some positives
As because of my job profile I got the opportunity to travel to most of the metro cities in India, enjoyed my stays in 5star hotels. I was actually living my life.
But along with the positive side there are disadvantages of life as a cabin crew because not many people know about them and they think it is a paradise.
Sleepless nights, jetlags, dry skin & hair, weak nails, are some common things which we had to deal with everyday.
But like I said, everything has both advantages and disadvantages and of course life of a cabin crew is not any exception.
Still I love my job & keep aiming to fly high.
Hope you all will like my story and I’ll continue to the rest of my journey...
