This is a usual situation. We all have faced it at one time or another. Someone said something that hurt you to the bone. It could be something about your race, color, family, education or social status. Something that touched us personally. Negative speech hurts. It hurts really bad. Sometimes, we want to retaliate and say something bad in return. True, Maybe we took it too personal and felt bad about it, but we need to realize that everyone have their opinion. Ultimately, what counts is your opinion of yourself. How you see it. The same thing that caused someone to commit suicide may motivate another person to achieve success.

Never allow anyone spoil your day with unfriendly compliments! There day isnt spoilt too. So you loose when you give in!
Never allow yourself be conquered by the evil, but keep conquering evil with the good!

Truly, negative remarks hurt. Fine, how you take it matters the most. But the worst truth is this:
It's often very difficult to feel differently if negative remarks come from our close friends and relatives.
What if your wife looks directly at you and says, "you are a big fool." How do you feel when the only offense you committed was not to call in to explain why you will be home late?

You had started making it home earlier but the traffic was terrible. And when you finally got through, you followed a congested route and somehow, your phone was stolen without you knowing it.
As soon as you remembered to call home, you noticed that your phone had been taken. Bjt you still felt you left it at the office and because you had important calls to make when you get home, you chose to head back to the office.
At the door, you remember that this was exactly thw place you answered your last call while you were leaving for home. Meaning thay you didnt leave the phone in the office.
How will you feel if your wife didnt wait to get the entire details before she starts attacking you?
You see, life is a big story told in different ways. To some it is a good night sweet tell and to some, it is a funeral talk.
That is why i chose since last year to preach about love and to help people to be more accommodating because life is not fair in itself.

Great speech. The real situation on ground. Our limited knowledge about events and situations make us leap before we look. But it should be the other way round. Before we say spmthing, it would be fine to purse a second and reflect on the likely effects of what we want to say. How many fights, broken relationships, depressions or even suicide would be saved if we think before we talk.
