What amazes me day after day is how little people take responsibility in this world. What I find interesting how people refuse to listen to this and how the word rarely is applied in a serious way. People say the word, but don't act on it. If you have a situation that you are not satisfied with, you can often change this by taking responsibility.
This process consists often of 3 very simple steps that I learned from Ray Dalio in the book Principles.
What do I want?
This is the most important step. Reason being that without step 1, the other two steps are impossible to determine. This may seem obvious, but a lot of people don't take enough time to really think about this.What is true?
What is the information that you have available? What did you try before? What people do you know that can potentially help you? What resources do you have that you can use (time, money, friends, family, internet)?What needs to be done about it?
Often this might seem hard to figure out. However, it is often simply a matter of modeling successful people. This means you need to find someone who has done already what you want to achieve, and simply model (copy )that person. I learned this from Tony Robbins.
Below I will give 2 examples about my own life where I took responsibility and many other people are not taking responsibility. It will also be an introduction for my future posts and what I do in daily life at the same time.
Example 1: suffering from chronic fatigue
I want to get my energy back (both body and mind), sleep properly and get rid of my muscle pain. I want to be able to work 40 hours per week, meet friends, workout.
I am in bed 24/7 with pain and can't think clearly. I tried doctors, therapists, alternative doctors. I don't know anyone that can help me. I have time (registered for a study finance at university at the time, could not work), some money, friends, family, and internet.
I need to find someone who struggled with having energy issues and fixed it. If this is not possible, I need to find scientific research myself how I can solve this situation.
What followed was a research journey of thousands of hours. I simply could not think of another solution. I used google, youtube, asked friends, and so on. At some point someone told me about toxins in nutrition and after this the ball started rolling.
Because I don't want to spend this post on that, I just want to say that I got healthy and that I am capable now of everything that I did set my mind to. Right now I have a website where I am trying to help other people with the same issues and I am making youtube videos to promote it. On top of this, I want to try Steemit :)

Funny fact: I did quit with my study because realized that I am not made for the finance world. I want to help people now so they don't have to face the pain of suffering from their problems. I am a lot more happy with myself now compared to before my disease. I plan to help people with a variety of problems. The first project is fatigue. I trust that I am committed enough to create an income out of this.
Example 2: being fat
I want to lose the excess of body fat that I carry with me until the point where I am happy with it again
I weigh around 210 pounds with around 22% body fat.
I need to workout 3 times per week and have a diet that is effective. I need to blog my journey to help others and therefore keep me inspired to do this on Steemit :)
