Financial management: A student's view

As a young financial student. I deem it necessary to enlightening my fellow steemians on the important of financial management and judicious use of funds. The world we are today is becoming more dynamic than ever and the means of surviving is becoming much difficult, especially here in African society. To me, i think it’s very important to make it clear to my fellow steemians, the benefit of productive spending, because in this our society we always have this mindset of frivolous spending while young and trying to curtail our uncircumspective spending when old, which has led to financial imbalance of many homes and has also contributed to high range of poverty and thereby making our Government to looks dormant.

Now financial management start from planning, as a steemian you don’t have to be Carlos Silva before you start planning for your future, planning led to organizing which entails getting oneself ready to take any opportunity when it comes. One thing is the ability to make money and another is the ability to be able to deploy this money wisely for it to yield more profit .Unproductive spending leads to decline in efficiency, a friend once told me that he made £150k (£150,000) in a menial job and he used £120k to buy a smart phone and I was like” wow”!!!. Why didn’t you invest this money in small business that can yield you more profit in the near future, he was then giving me some strange excuses and the funniest part of it, is that all he could do with this gadget is just to chart and play musics. So as a steemian, productive spending can help one to be less financial dependent on his/her parents, at least 40% of financial freedom will likely be guaranteed and the means of future survivor wouldn’t be a thing of herculean task.
My favourite quote is, “Labour while young and enjoy when old”. Labouring while young start from judicious use of funds to maximize more funds.
