Going to work in Thane, Mumbai? Now you can skip the traffic and rent a bike

Thane Municipal Corporation is offering its office-goers a chance to cut down on the ‘rush’ during rush hours.

It’s simple – pick one from the stand closest to you, and drop it off to a stand nearest to your workplace – all for a nominal rent of Rs.10.

If you wish to rent the cycle, you have to register yourself and get a smart card through which you can both rent and return the cycle.

The App ‘Ilovecycling’ give updates about the routes you’ve traveled and the calories you’ve burnt.
