The purpose of this article is to nurture a deeper connection with a hands-on experience and an intelligent work of art.
Here are my reasons on what makes DIY so awesome:
1 - Expansion of the learning mind
The theory is simple: the more you learn, the more your learning horizon unfolds. There lies a feeling of sheer happiness and wholesome wisdom when learning something new.
2 - Cycling the right side of the brain
Be it a facial cream or a scratch post for your kitten, your creative side of the brain hemisphere helps to increase vitality and boosts an endless realm of creativity and color.
3 - You are your own master crafter
You are the sole consciousness behind your DIY. Be as experimental as you wish to be - a master of your own creation - a mind pool of genius ideas.
4 - A practice of going green
DIY projects that involve reducing, reusing and recycling, helps protect the environment and is a great initiative to strike a conversation for someone visiting your home and is definitely in awe of how less can be so much more. A conscious effort of using all natural ingredients drives us closer to being aware of what is available around us.
5 - Family bonding
As parents, the main priority is to bond with their young ones and what better way than to create a culture at home that helps kids get more creative whether it be creating jewelry out of pasta or designing a new toy train.
6 - A deeper appreciation
Attention to details, how it has been made or where it comes from are just some of the few attributes of a DIY which builds a deeper value and a conscious effort in craftsmanship.
7 - A recipe for balance and independence
Seeking a more direct way encourages us not to rely so much on governments and corporations to support us. A path to freedom is always pleasurable when you can make everything that you need rather than depending on others. A balance of a conscious life and a creative soul is what attracts a positive aspect to life and joyfulness.
In balance we trust - In Humbleness we reside - In creativity we explore!
Keep rocking lovely people........
