It took me a long while to update on my Mind Check Blog because I had been busy over preoccupying myself with educational activities.
Recently, I decided to enroll in a 6-month course on Multi-Media design to enhance my artistic skills.
Since then, I've been practicing on sketching people and little objects to keep myself busy.
In between it all, I am relearning the Japanese language so I could keep up with new friends who are fluent in the language.
I wonder if I'll ever be able to converse with them without the need to translate every now and then?
I'm also taking side courses on edx.org to see what else is out there that could help me improve myself.
I guess I have so many dreams I couldn't really decide what I should really do.
But I don't mind doing many things, it keeps me sane.
Mind Check for today:
Situation: My printer was somehow broken, so I fixed it.
Thoughts: I didn't realize how easy it is to do if you just properly analyze the problem.
Physical: Does being sweaty count? It's really hot from where I am.
Emotional: I don't know how to describe what I'm really feeling but it's somewhere around being tired, content, and eager to do more knowledgeable activities.
What do you want to do?: I want to learn more, and I want guidance.
[ Mind Check is where I try to reflect on certain situations and how it affects me. It functions like a journal while keeping in check my mental health. ]
Great post.I wanted to know is there a similarity between the japanese language and the chinese language, like would it be easier for you to learn the chinese language after learning the japanese one? The reason why am asking is to actually advice you to give the chinese language a shot too, cause you might not know something might take you to china, and the language will come in handy.

I practically grew up in China. I usually stay in either Shenzhen or Zhuhai down south, but my favorite is Shanghai City.
Sentence structure wise, Japanese and Chinese are the same, but Chinese is a bit more difficult due to the details of pronunciation and similar sounding words.
I already know Chinese, but I rarely speak it since I never fully trained for that language.
So yeah, for me it's better if you know thr Japanese sentence structure already since it could help you learn Chinese.
