There are only two ways to have more money, and when I say money, you can understand anything that has a transactional value, including crypto:
- make more
- spend less
You don't have to be so smart to understand them. In fact, smart guys might have a hard time following these simple rules, because they are so... simple. :)
To make more money, there are two alternatives:
1.1. make more of the stuff you are already paid to do, take a second and maybe third job etc.
1.2. improve your skills, learn a craft etc. and get a better return per hour, per gig etc.
This is a great separator. Those who choose option 1.1 for the long run end up making less money because they never have time to evolve. Those who choose option 1.2 will make more money on the long term because the time invested in improving their skills or learning new ones or a craft pays off.
But... making more money is not the only way to have more money at your disposal.
The alternative is to
Spend less money
Again, remember, we are not talking only about money here. It also applies to cryptocurrencies, and in the cryptosphere there are so many "opportunities" to waste yours.
We have two types of spendings:
2.1. necessities
2.2. indulgences
As necessities we have paying up debt, food, bills and utilities, gas and fuel, taxes, healthcare, education, putting aside for savings, or well thought-out investments if/when budget allows us, etc.
Entertainment - especially expensive vacations and cruises - going out to eat at the restaurant often, changing your phone or laptop to the latest model (without anything wrong with the old one), shopping by trends, gambling and gamble-like investments or games, and many more, these are indulgences.
Once you cut out some of the indulgences, you will have more money at your disposal. Depending on how much more money one needs, more indulgences need to be eliminated. Some simply keep them under control because they want to optimize both ways to have more money.
Myself, I think life without some indulgences is pretty boring, so it's only a matter of a right balance for the person or family. But when an indulgence becomes an addiction, then we (or someone close) should start worrying and, if necessary, take action.
Problem I'm having....It to stop spending on STEEM Power LOL
Biggest addiction in my life these days :)

That sounds serious, man! :)
What was that thing you said at the end of today's show that your wife might say at some point? "You gotta choose between me and Steem"? What was that saying? Happy wife, happy life! So make sure you don't cross her up with your Steem addiction. ;)
