I could have taken this to heart yesterday, as I reacted to a situation in a way that I probably should have handled in a different way. I know what I did and what I said was right - but sometimes, what do you gain by being right? Thanks for sharing, I have printed out these words and posted above my desk. Two sides to each coin. Like you say so often, you shape your own destiny/world/life.
This poem made me think of the video game fable, where you can do good and bad deeds throughout the game, and it shapes your character into the person you behaved as, good or evil. So by the end, you look dark and evil or bright and good.
Thank you for sharing Galen. I sometimes think that concept of the video game applies to real life.

It's interesting how some people pick up on lessons wherever they go and other's do not. There's little nuggets of gold laying about everywhere if on;y we look. I have learned life lessons from the most unlikely of sources through being open to them in the first place. Your video game is a good example of this

I feel like a lot of that learning part has to do with the persons own intent to learn anyway.
I am inquisitive by nature like yourself, I find myself questioning everything and observing constantly. Wanting to know. Sometimes so bad its hurts.
Some people just are not into that kind of reasoning.
