What advice can you give to help me convince my daughter to join Steemit???
My daughter is 23 years old and living the dream. A millennial by all stretches of the word. She orders her groceries from Amazon Prime, she listens to her music on a retro turntable, she even gets her mom and made Gilmore Girls our show. Last month, she was baptized by the Holy Spirit. She's a good egg.
She is moving home for a month before she heads off to her adventure of living in New York City. She has had it in her heart to go there for a decade. Come February 1st, her dream will come through. Until then, I get a month with her living home again. Pretty exciting.
I am hoping to get my millennial on to Steemit. She really needs to check this platform out. I am going to work on that while she is home. I've only been on Steemit a week, and I am highly impressed. I know she will be, too. Besides, I need her to get on here and learn all about it so she can teach me. Lol.
Seriously, though. Steemit is a great opportunity for her. She is a writer. Music industry is her niche. Chance the Rapper is her favorite. I've read some of her work and I am always floored.
Then again, I am biased ;)
Either way, I am going to work my Steemit magic over the next month. Hopefully, I'll be resteeming her posts soon!
Do you try to talk folks into Steemit? What advice to you give? What can I say to convince her to join Steemit?

The way I like to summarize Steemit is "a platform where content creators are rewarded for content they contribute." Sure, the curation model as of now is very flawed, but that's what makes us early adopters. So if your daughter ever wanted to get into blogging, Steemit would be a good medium to house her posts while also potentially earning money on the side.

Yes, that is a great explanation! Thank you. I did spend some of Christmas telling her and my dad about Steemit. It certainly sparked much interest at the dinner table. The self investing aspect and housing aspect will certainly catch her attention. Thanks! Blessings!

No matter how much of a blessing that steemit is, many just think it is too good to be true.

How true! Thank you for your comment and upvote. I was thrilled to see your reply. I truly enjoy your posts! Also, many people interacted with this post after you did last night. It is a great testament as to how this Steemit platform works. I will be sure to show my daughter. Thank you! Much appreciated. Merry Christmas!
