The problems that hardfork 20 have brought to Steemit are still here and instead of leaving are getting more controversial, I just saw two posts one saying that Steemit owes us nothing and the other saying that the author frankly sees very little reason to keep posting on Steemit.
The first poster is right Steemit owes us nothing, in fact a lot of us have been able to make some extra money by just posting what are mainly shit posts, and some made money investing in the platform unfortunately right now the only ones who have seen their investments grow are those who bought during the first few months of last year when the price was really low.
But this person also says Steemit is not centralized that it is more akin to an anarchy, this one really made me laugh, you know all decisions are made by management, approved by 17 of the top 21 witnesses and now let's see how these witnesses are there, coincidentally 17 of these top 21 witnesses are there because of the @freedom vote, and @freedom is probably a STINC bot. So yes Steemit is centralized.
But we frankly can't complain that much the ride has been good, but I think these changes brought by HF20 are just part of the STINC business plan, with the social media aspect of Steemit Steem has become quite well known it is a household name in the crypto world, so now we have reached the second phase, implementation of SMT's which is where they are placing their hopes for the future, the social media is no longer an important part of the plan it has already served its purpose.
That is why all problems presented by HF20 are being made to seem irrelevant and people are asked to invest, this will probably have a lot of people leaving frustrated with the platform this will work perfectly with the outlook of not being a social network but an investment platform where SMT's will be the benchmark.
So I tend to agree with the post that says the author is frustrated with Steemit, the way I see it we are not really too much of an asset to this platform anymore, so all that is wanted are people willing to put money in and who are willing to make the launch of SMT's a success.
I believe the future of Steemit will be the arrival of SMT the social platform aspect will be phased out, and I think that is also the belief of a lot of people here, even some of the big guys who are trying to color this with a positive outlook are opening up accounts at the alternative platforms like Whaleshares.io and Weku.io. Imagine if EOS does open its social media, the people moving over there will be a lot.
Of course this is my view on it, I could be wrong but somehow I think I am at least on the right path.
A lot off info you share here.i like this info.nice creation.
