The Unending Wickedness of Mr. Disunity

Recent happenings in the world has raised questions in the heart of people who have been victims of circumstances, family abuse, war and even heartbreak which is almost being seen now by some victims as a normal "necessary evil"

I have personally been a victim of the nemesis of disunity. I have seen children that looked promising at birth become criminals, ends up in jail because of disunity at home, companies that have folded up, renowned record labels that became a long forgotten stories because of the same monster called "disunity'.

You have been a victim, likewise me, but the truth remains that we have also in one way or the other propagated or escalated disunity, sometimes, unconsciously from the way we said they things we say and the way we responded to the issues we got reports about.

Don't just start arguing yet, though my intention is not to castigate anybody but to bring back some level of sanity into the human space.

SLANDERING
Most of the times we tend to say things that are not totally true about other people to gain favour in front of others, especially before our superiors. you might have made reports with a very sincere mind but what you failed to know was that the person you presented the report to didn't have your same intention and understanding.

Slander is one of the major causes of disunity, this can be seen even in some families

ANGER

We have heard stories and even seen instances where husbands kill their spouse because of anger. Anger to me can always be managed with emotional maturity, but people because of too much knowledge of human right will not wait to think. We need to learn how to tame down ourselves when we are angry just to avoid the disaster of disunity

PRIDE

It is a fact that pride comes before a fall, the fall here is what we are discussing today as disunity. Maybe you have been in a situation that you wronged someone but you could not just say "sorry'' don't bother your head anymore with why you are not always able to say sorry when you are wrong. proud people causes war everywhere they appear.

You must be intentional about letting go of pride today so we can have a better society

JEALOUSY

Brothers are fighting brothers, best of friends are turning enemies, and colleagues are planning evil against his coworker because of jealousy. This explains why we are facing the ISIS, Boko Haram and the rest of the terrorist groups in the world today.
