Hi Friends... Here I am again with a beautiful remedy for dark spots on the skin and dark circles around the eyes!!

Yes, It's a frequently used vegetable in all our kitchens. It is Cucumber!!.

You all know well that cucumber is good for health as it gives a much soothing or cooling effect on our body. At the same time it is also good for our skin, in fighting with the blemishes or dark spots on the skin. It also gives a face lifting effect by tightening the skin, when used as a face pack with rice powder and rose water.😁

When my son @firepower was a child, I was hardly getting enough sleep. He used to sleep well during the day and was sitting awake and loving to play during nights. As I was working with a Nationalized Bank, I was hardly getting rest during day time. So I developed dark Circles around my eyes and my face started looking so bad!

** One of my Grandma, (my Mom's aunt), told me to apply the juice of fresh cucumber around my eyes twice a day, for a month. Actually when I started this, within a fortnight I could notice a very good positive change in my face and the dark circles had almost disappeared!!**

If you have enough time, you can rest with the slices of cucumber on your eyes for 10 to 15 minutes.

So Friends... Bring this cool veggie atleast once a week and grate it to make something in your Kitchen. But don't forget to take a couple of spoons of it's juice, and apply it on your face!!... You can just apply it on all over the face and neck, and then wash it out after 15 minutes.

Here in Mangalore we get this cucumber in plenty and we make lot of dishes using it, including Idli and Dosa too.. 😁 A juice of cucumber with jaggery and cardamom makes a good cooling drink, during summers!!..
