Success Series - Finding your Niche [The easy way out]

A lot of people find carrying out tasks in heir career path really difficult compared to their colleagues in the same place of work or field, on a more practical phase two students in a math class, paying attention to the same teacher for the same length of time, still get to have one do better than the other even if they have the same level of IQ and EQ. This is due to the fact that everyone in the planet has different spots where they are more comfortable compared to others, that is why we have difference in what we like and don't.

Enough of the explanations let's see what a Niche is;

A Niche is a comfortable or suitable position in life or employment, that allows an individual more productivity at ease than other positions

Most people get to be less effective and productive at their jobs because it is not their comfortable spot or we should use the phrase, not their Niche. Whether you are just starting, feeling lost, or just need a check up, defining your niche can be the game changer in your business or job, in such a way that people around would be baffled by what you do especially around here on the block chain.

Why you should find your Niche

As much as finding your Niche is required, it still remains one of the best things that can happen to you in the world. reason because once you are able to find it, you begin doing exploits. Here's a comprehensive list of why you should;

• There’s a lot of competition out here in the real world, and it is really a challenge to stand out with limited resources.
• Having a specific product or service category or interest makes it easier to describe what you do and increases productivity
• Targeting a niche gets you in front for searchers who are mostly ready to buy instead of casually browsing.
• You get to make smarter decisions, because you’ll be able to answer the questions “does this help further my goal?” or “will this appeal to my viewers and followers?”
• You begin to grow at a pace you’re comfortable with, based on your sales, staffing, free time, or any other aspect affecting your scalability.
• You scale more quickly due to a (likely) smaller set of services on you offer
• Make more money in the long run due to the fact that you’ll be targeting a more specific group rather than one with mass appeal, now this might sound counter intuitive, but if there are 30 companies offering men’s shoes and only one (yours) offering discount women’s sandals, where do you think those seeking those sandals will go?

Business and Blogging isn't easy, and at some point it will put you to great tests, so If you are working in an area that you don't care about or feel comfortable with, your odds of quitting will increase drastically, and growing email lists and audience became easier for lots of bloggers when they picked their Niche and worked basically on it and not deviating, finding your niche would make life way easier than normal.

How to find your Niche

There are different ways through which you could find your Niche, knowing them is not a problem because they are easy to recognize but the problem is working on it. Lots of people know how to but just a few do what they know, and this fact has caused a lot of back sliding in the economy lately.

Here's a list of how to find our Niche and this list is for those who have no idea how;

• Identify your interests and what you love most, this can be said to be passion
  Most people wake up every morning to do one thing or the other, there's always a 24 hours allocated time to everyone per day, but the question is what do you find most interesting

as you go with your activities during the day, it might be something fun like taking pictures or something as tough as catching fraudsters, but if it is what makes you have fun the most then theres the begining.

• Identify the nature of problems you can solve
  Solving problems is one essential of life, you are either solving a problem of causing one, but it is morally wrong to cause one so I'll advice you restrain from that. Here's the thing, if you are the type that finds it fun reading up science articles and following up inventions, you'll find it fun to write about them also and with time you'll notice that you have developed interest in making futuristic designs for technology. Problem two solved, you now know what you like, and the kind of problems you are deeply interested in solving.
• Research on the level of competition there is on this nature of problems
  Different aspects of humanity carry different levels of challenge and competition, for example Clothing Brands carry a lot of competition due to the fact that there are many of them out there in the world, so as the IT industry, now after knowing the type of problems you like solving, the next phase is to find the type an the level of competition you are about to face, the gets you prepared for what you are going out there to face, you perception of how tough or how easy the challenge is will also determine the percentage chance of your survival in the game.
  Once you have done your research, you would determine if you have a chance to stand out in different ways for example, quality, transparency and payed competition.
• Determine how profitable it is
  Everyone is interested in profits, not everyone is interested in the same rates of profit. Easy to understand right?
  The amount of profit in every sector is not the same in others, since you have found a possible Niche it is now time to determine how much profit you have the potential to raise from working in line with that Niche.
  If the top products in your category have not made good profits then no one has been able to monetize that aspect yet, find out why they have not been able to and how to solve the problem. You don't necessarily have to start with your own products that is why there is space for partnership with other product creators in that category so you can still provide services while thinking of a unique and explosive solution.
• Put your ideas to test
  As short as the phrase is, this is the most difficult step of all, in the sense that everyone has ideas but only a few have the guts to put them to work if you have been there you would understand what i mean by that.
  Now that you have gathered enough information from partnering with other competitors in your field, you have also taken time to work on a perfect solution for an outburst of profit for yourself in the chosen field, it is time to put everything to work, this means making your ideas come alive.
  One simple way to start visualizing an idea is to set up a landing page for pre-sales of the product idea you're developing as a solution. You can then drive enough traffic to this page with paid advertising because traffic doesn't come free and that is because some individuals have taken it upon themselves to make that their niche and have been successful with it.
