Story of the day...The problems of a world falling into darknes and a light reminder

The story of the day...so I'm at the new Walmart and this couple who is in front of me with a new born in the cart and looks to be 6 year old daughter next to them is checking out at the cashier in front of me...the cashier gives them the total... they are counting their money then they finish and the father starts taking items out of the bag and tells the cashier to subtract it from the total... The cashier asks "you don't want it?"... He goes "no, not right now" and looks down at the ground...he doesn't have enough...I look at the family and look at the cashier and say "go ahead and put those items back in their bag, I'm going to pay for those...this is a "moment" and my friends I do not tell you this for any recognition, only as a reminder that we either can be part of the light or fall into the darkness ...with all the insanity going on these days with politics, finances, wars, rumors of wars and seeming continued human strife, we all may feel a bit lost and disheartened as where it is going and what to do...my friends I say "do what you can in the moments you can"...we each posses the ability to light a dark situation, even the smallest... fear and negativity is creating much more darkness in this time so do not pass up your "moment" to be a light... we all have them and have a choice to do what is needed... every light action for your fellow human being or creature on this planet illuminates the darkness just a bit more that the world is experiencing even the smallest works. Do not forget your lights humanity and fall into the darkness of fear as we watch the dark stories of those who have forgot unfold in the media....You are still a light...and the light this day for me came from the expression on the families faces, the smile on the daughters face and the handshake of gratitude from the father after...that moment...Priceless
