GRATITUDEDAY 58/62: REFLECTIONS - MISS YOU DAD

Hello steemians, today i am excited for some beautiful things in my life. Who I am and what I have become. The peace and joy I experience despite challenging situations. I owe it all to God and my parents especially my dad. Mum is wonderful you would love her but dad is quiet and a deep thinker.

One thing I know about myself is that I loved my Dad so much. I think I resembled him to a very large extent than I imagined. Many things I find myself doing I always have my dad in mind. He was an upright man to the core. A disciplinerian who loved God more than any man I knew while I was growing up.

Abiloye Walter Paul Ede. You were the man I looked up to my whole life with your exemplary life style that showed how much you loved God. Many things you deprived us from then, but now i see the bigger picture how your protectiveness has made us outstanding children of Ajaogbugbu clan. My love for God and the things of God were words you spoke to me when i was a child far back in JSS 3. You said "Gloria, Love God and serve God in His house. Marry a man that you would serve God with Him together." I wonder why at that age he said those words. But I have held on to it ever since.

I thought of you daddy and I smiled because you accomplished your works here on earth. Your children ( Biological and Spiritual) are a proof of a good fight and a race well accomplished.

I love you even in death because your words of wisdom still rings in my head and directing my path in life.

I am grateful to God that you raised me up in the path of righteousness.

I miss you Daddy, you were an encyclopedia of wisdom from God.
