Family Trip To Steveston Village Richmond BC

in life •  7 years ago

Last weekend we decided to visit west side of our city Richmond. There is a nice beach I visited multiple times but always returned from the beach and never tried to go the nearby Steveston Village. It is a nice fun place with multiple small shops and fast food parlors. I didn't know that such a nice place just next to the beach I visited every year multiple times.

This year my older daughter Binwant (@binwantatwal) insisted to go to Steveston Village as she visited there with her friends. So we decided to visit on Saturday evening and it was a nice family fun time. Below are some pictures I am sharing here, hope you will like.

Below is a little entrance to bayview market, I liked the dolphin

Canada celebrated its 150th birth day, celebration signs are still on a nearby museum

Small fishing boats and behind is a big tourist boat. You can have a trip as it leaves daily for its trip to the sea for whale and dolphin watching.

Brass statue and beside it is my daughter Ishmeet

Below is an old scenery on a huge wall

What about your city, do you have a nearby beach? How about a place for family fun? Do you know all the places in your city where you can visit for fun, as a family trip or for leisure?

Thank you @ryancornett.

I did not know Canada is only 150! Interesting!

Yes @old-guy-photos, Canada Just Turned 150 this July 1st. July 1st 1867 was the day confederation took place. I think there were only 3 or 4 provinces who joined this day.
