The eye of a White Walker

IMG_6732.JPG

I took this shot using my iPhone 6s plus on the penultimate run on my last day skiing at Courmayeur, Italy this week. Only when I got home did I spot the small vivid blue light streaming through the trees and was reminded of the description of the White Walker's eyes as a 'blue that burned like ice'.

I took the shot directly into sunlight giving the surrounding scene an almost monochromic feel hence I was taken aback by that blue light.

Seems like an invisible one eyed white walker is hiding behind the tree

Beautiful shot.
I'm guessing the 'walker's eye' is a lense flare'

Probably but I like to think otherwise @roop

Yeah, me too :-)

Thanks @saizor - glad you liked it

Very unusual photo. Slightly gloomy but beautiful.

It was over-exposed as taken directly into the sun

Burr....above photo looks cold but peaceful...nice capture.
I do not like cold weather having lived in Hawaii for 25 years. Now, in AR still got cold 28 degree F just other night even though supposed to be Spring already,

I am in love of your blog. I have an iPhone 8 plus, hope my pics look as good as yours!

Very very beautiful photography.

Really good one shot. I don't like winter that's why I live in Panama but on the photos I could watch hours :)

Thanks @margaretwise. How’s life in Panama? Have you heard of Simply Natural Investments?
