Why is this day celebrated?
The idea arose in Brazil, thanks to a great aficionado of the brand, Alexander Gromow, who made consensus with several world clubs dedicated to the Beetle to choose an annual date to celebrate it from 1995. The date chosen to pay annual tribute to the Beetle was on June 22, because that day, in 1934, the contract was signed that gave the green light to the project proposed by the engineer Ferdinand Porsche to the German government. In Venezuela every year, all the states, the owners and amateurs meet with their respective vehicles in which there is a walk around the city and then a concentration to celebrate this day with you. I want to share some photos of this celebration.
