Be one of a kind.. Don't try to copy someone, because by doing that you tell the world they are better than you.. It's not an issue having someone better than you, but why copying them and trying so hard. I understand how we can be affected and sometimes it is we don't have anything to do with it. But one should try not to have his identity scratched out completely!
