Great perspective to try! It makes sense to frame a goal in an empowering way so one is more inclined to keep going after it. I've read extensively on the importance and effect on the subconscious and conscious minds of positive and negative language. I don't is still stating what you do not want and putting focus on the negative instead of stating what you do want. An example would be instead of "i don't eat eggs", state " i only eat plant based food"

I agree with you 100%. Though this wasn't a part of the study, I'm sure that using the more positive-framed word like you mentioned would have resulted in better results. In public speaking that's also a best practice.
