Would you prefer a natural scented mason jars or commercial products?
For me winter is very special. I love the rain, the coffee and the different essential oils. To deodorize and naturally scent my home, I decided to make some scented mason jars. I avoid all commercial products, because they are full of chemicals that can harm us.
So the best methods and tips to make our home smell better is using natural ingredients and essential oils. You can experiment and use different combinations to find the right choice for you.
I will be sharing with you the ingredients that I chose for my mason jars.
The Forest mason jar
Dried lavander
Dried Rosemary
Agarwood or aloeswood
Rosemary essential oil
Vanilla oil perfume
For my second Rose mason jar I chose some different ingredients and one of them is coffee. I love the smell of coffee so I used ground coffee instead of whole beans to have more aroma and smell.
Aromatic mason jar
Kenya ground coffee
Dried roses
Cloves
Musk stone
Vanilla oil perfume
Cinnamon essential oil
Once you get them ready, you can add small candles on the top or just leave them as they are for decoration. Essential oils dont have long lasting aroma like the commercial products, but you can always refresh your mason jars by adding more drops of perfumes or oils.
You can also add the ingredients to boiling water and let it simmer for 2 or 3 hours. Add oranges, Jasmine and cinnamon sticks. You can be creative.

Yes they are very useful depends on your taste. You can use them for oil or water candles as well or for
decoration with different roses and flowers.

First time I've seen "potpourri" since my childhood, and I'm grateful for the fragrant memories your post stirs up. My mom's style was to place dried rose petals and other naturally fragrant plants into a decorative bowl. I like your idea of the mason jars even better, because then you can seal it up when it's not in use and then open the lid as desired–I think your method would be longer lasting.

Love to make it also but unfortunately some ingredients are not available in our country. Maybe i will try to replicate some similar substances and essential oil in our place. Trial and error for the first timer like me haha:)

Yes in every country you find some ingredients missing. You should go to the stores where they sell essential oils and you might find other natural ingredients that you can use.

Awesome! We normally use incense at my flat but I'm aware of the health risks if you don't get good quality ones so I've been looking for an alternative! You've got me curious! Looking forward to project 2 :)
