As most of you know, I am boarding a train to work and back every day. It will be around 5.40 am to work and 5.30 pm going back.
Before I start my last night story, I just want to share one picture.
Sorry about the mask. We are advised to wear it. Look behind me. It's empty. This crowded train is almost empty. It felt so much comfortable sitting inside without having to fight for air to breathe. Well, that's a joke. 😅😅
Now back to my story.
Last night, when I reach my last stop, I was planning to sit a while in the car and make my one last post for @gingbabida engagement contests. @wakeupkitty just reminded about it.
Are you eager to know the story? 🤭
Well, it is not a good news though. I'm just sharing it for us to be cautious next time.
Can you see the gap between the train to its platform. It's quite small right? I absolutely cannot fit into that gap but a small child can.
Last night, small girl age of 2 years and 7 months I think, fell down to the railway through that gap. Luckily they are among the first one to get out from the train and the train didn't move yet for there are still people going out. I'm still inside while this happened. I didn't actually see the child fell into the gap.
There was a nurse with us that time, we both stop to help amd give a simple check up for the child. She can't stop crying. Her mouth is bleeding, luckily it's because she bitten her lips with jer teeth and none broken. The back of her head got a bump and her forehead got a small scratch. She kept on holding her left foot. I checked the movement and it seem find but she is having tenderness all around. The pain increased with pressure put on. She can't even stand up.
It's night and we are kilometers away from the nearest hospital. Luckily the emergency department of a nearby clinic was still open because there's a patient inside. We both send the whole family there. Both the parents with a little baby, I think around 2 months old and an older brother of that girl which is also still very small.
It's not a nice story but let's all take it as a lesson and precaution.
My heart still hurts remembering that situation last night. We don't know what happened to them after we hand them over to the medical assistant in charge. They're probably send to the nearest hospital by ambulance.
If you're wondering how she fell.
The father is holding a lot of their belongings with no free hands amd the mother is holding a baby. Both the two young children have nobody holding their hand.
This is also an invitations to join in with....

Before we left last night, she is still crying in the emergency department but a little bit calmer. I can't stay for long, my eyes start to produce tears and before my tears came out I just left amd wait for my friend the nurse at our car. She said they'll be alright since they are in the hands of medical help already, therefore we went home. I didn't wait because there's nothing else I can do and I can't even call my husband because there is no line at home. If I'm late he'll be wondering and I don't want to make him worry.

Luckily the clinic was still open. Yah, better go back to your husband. How about getting yourselves walkie talkies, then you two can still communicate to each other without a line.

I have plan to have walkie talkie someday when we have the budgjet but I don't think it'll work for 12 km away. Will it work?

That must have been so painful for the girl. It is hard when both parents are preoccupied with things in hand and the younger ones need to fend for themselves. Thank you for sharing this story, it is a good reminder for us all with young ones around us.

I believe it is because she can't stop crying and keep on holding to her left foot. Her mouth is still full of blood. I've got a lot in mind when I see her. I'm used to seeing this kind of accident shared in YouTube or facebook but this is the first time I've encountered them in person. The truth is, I'm glad I didn't see the mechanism of fall. It might haunt me for life.

Believe me if your leg get stuck you aren't happy either and can get seriously wounded. Poor kid. Things like that happen to me too. Did they clean the train? 💕
