What solutions can we find:

  • ask for support from close ones or a specialist: psychiatrist, psychologist, psychotherapist. Cognitive-behavioral psychotherapy has proven to be one of the most useful methods of treatment;
  • maintains a healthy lifestyle. Healthy eating, sufficient rest, physical activity on a regular basis are factors that have been shown to increase energy, stress resistance and performance;
  • sets other priorities to get rid of professional problems in your spare time;
  • give yourself more time for pleasant activities, hobbies, passions, for developing creativity and getting out of the everyday routine;
  • take a daily break from technology;
  • time spent with family and friends and social activities also have a "battery recharge" effect and should not be neglected;
  • at work, it is recommended to express dissatisfaction and suggestions for change in an assertive manner; It is beneficial to routinely exit, diversify, look for challenges. In some situations, the solution may be a change in work or field of activity.

Love this topic. As a healthcare worker and nurse specifically my profession expierences a ton of burn out. Nursing is a high stress job, and is fairly physically demanding. Due to such high needs many people are coming in to the profession for the wrong reasons and this only increases the chances of burnout. When you get to those points, you have to do like you stated, remind yourself of why you love your job. My most important thing I do, is to maintain balance. I often will pull 16 hour shift in the emergency room, but prior I will have a treat for myself after it planned out. It may be something big or small, but just something to reward me for my hard work. Now I'm trying not to burnout on Steemit!

I'm definitely burnt out. Thanks for the tips.

Extremely helpful, thanks a lot. I'm looking forward to becoming a pharmacist and my everyday job will include meeting a lot of people. I think this will get me some stress but this mustn't affect my work so this article will help me, I think.

I quit my job 2 years ago.
Became a freelancer.
Now starting to create my own life as an Entrepeneur.
It is really hard to break out of the hamster wheel, but ones you are outside of the matrix you never want to go back

I like your way of thinking. Unfortunately, not all of us have this courage!

like I said. It is not a easy as looking at a picture that says: "follows you dreams bla bla". The system we live in is really designed for everyone to stay inside of it and work as a modern slave -.-
If you find the courage to take full responsibility for your very own life that is the first step of a great journey. think about what you will regret when you are really old...

With that I can agree. Neither do I like to stay inside the circle, rather outside the box!

Congratulations for the freedom you found. I wish you well on your endeavors. Hope I'll also find the courage and the means someday. 😉

Thank you. I always ask myself : What is the worst thing that can happen if I go outside of the box?! If the answer is nothing worse than today or if the answer is if I stay inside the box it is going to be worse = burnout or worse than it should not even depend on courage or means, but on good decision making an follow through.

Very rightfully said.

I believe such decision requires careful thinking and thinking about going out of the box now should be the start. Next would be taking steps in order to attain that goal. Life is complicated. When you're burnt out, you sometimes can't help but just go with the flow. When the current steadies, hopefully get up and move on. (I am talking about myself btw.) 😆

I get it. been there, done that. just rest for a while and gather your energy and thoughts to strike like a samurai soon

Cool, but I'm a student how do I avoid study burnout? jk.

You should not already be the victim of this kind of exhaustion.
But if you are the victim of exhaustion, then you should:

  • You should do better management of your time;
  • you should learn to know your inclinations and limitations;
  • learn when you have the highest morale and get up from the table as soon as you start to feel fatigued;
  • Do not forget to live your life. Meet your friends, your girlfriend, go out more.
    Student period is the most beautiful time in your life. Life become ugly after this period.

I think i just entered a "job burnout" zone. Our priorities change in every stage of our lives. There are times when I feel I want to quit my full time job and work free lance while spending more time with my kids. However, we are also in a position where a further slash in income is not imaginable. I just dont know what to think most of the time. 😕

You will find your way. You just don't know yet!

I am praying for that. Thanks!
