Was one to cause an inferno
It made my body warm
Lips wet
Eyes watery
Legs wobbly
I can swear that it was real
And we would have gone to different galaxies
But then you changed
You decided to drowse the flame
With the waters of the sea
As we sat by the beach
Watching the waves break by our legs
And that last night was beautiful
But it ended up being sad
Though I wish we had it all to ourselves
