Dulu waktu sekolah dasar kita pernah di ajarkan di pelajaran IPA yang bahwa bentuk bumi ini bulat dan berputar pada poros nya,semakin maju nya teknologi di zaman sekarang ini banyak sains sains menemukan bukti bukti baru terhadap bentuk bumi ini,
Penemuan terbaru yang mengatakan bumi ini datar pun punya alasan,sebenarnya untuk apa bentuk bumi ini di perdebatkan,mungkin bagi kita yang tidak mau tau masalah ini tidak terlalu penting untuk di pikirkan,
Tetapi bagi para ilmuwan ilmuwan itu sangat penting,banyak alasan atau fakta yang mengatakan bumi ini bulat, seperti ilmuan Galileo pada tahun 1616 ia mengatakan bumi ini bulat,semua pihak memusuhi galileo,Karena mereka sudah terlanjur percaya dari dulunya bumi ini datar termasuk dari pihak gereja juga,karena mereka itu tidak percaya kepada galileo karena galileo tidak punya bukti berupa foto atau gambar,
Ketika apollo mengadakan misi luar angkasa dia berhasil mendapatkan foto dan terlihat bumi itu bulat,baru setelah itu dunia mengakui bahwa benar yang dikatakan galileo ,dan itu terjadi di tahun 1968 dan membutuhkan waktu 3,5 abad untuk membuktikan kebenaran galileo,
Walaupun sudah terbukti adanya foto namun banyak juga yang menyangkal dan tidak percaya bumi ini bulat,mereka dan beberapa ilmuwan seperti james mclntyre mengatakan bumi ini seperti piring dan datar,
Sebagai bukti lagi bumi bulat,di saat kamu telfon ke amerika di waktu siang di sana itu lagi malam hari,nah dengan inilah bertambah bukti bahwa bumi ini bulat,kalau bumi datar pasti zona waktu tidak berbeda.
