Somebody told me there would be days like these:
The tree you see fell on a rental property I own that is on our farm not too far from my house. Luckily nobody got hurt and the tree hit the corner of the house where it is structurally strong.
This happened Sunday night sometime around 1:00 am.
I called the tree service and they mobilized and got the tree off the house Monday morning. They where done before 1:00pm (less than 12hrs from when the tree fell).
The crane crew just happened to be working down the road about 5 miles away when they got the call.
As soon as the tree was removed, I got the hole in the roof tarped over, in the pouring down rain.
I believe the good Lord was looking out for us.
Now I am waiting for the Insurance man to arrive.
Days like these make you appreciate the days that are not like these. So today is a good day.... at least a tree did not fall on my house today, haha ;)
A lot to be thankful for. Will insurance cover the expenses?

Yes, the insurance will cover the majority of the repair work, after the deductible. I am responsible for cleaning up the tree mess though, but that is not really too much of a problem as I can use all the firewood I can get.
