Sportbike Ride on a ZX6R

in life •  6 years ago

My son swapped bikes with a ZX6R bike owner for a quick run up the mountain. A ZX6R has a 600cc engine which is about 60% of the power of a 1000cc liter engine that we have. The bike is much lighter and more 'flickable' easier to ride tight curves than the heavier liter bikes. The 600cc engine is usually run at higher revs and is fun to throw back and forth in the curves. Please enjoy the following video of his ride on a 600cc bike.

A 600cc has plenty of power and is usually the bike of choice for most female riders as the bike is smaller. Once you have ridden and felt the awesome power of a liter bike 1000cc engine, you will never want to ride a 600cc again. The 1000cc has almost twice the power and will put a double grin on your face with every ride. 😃 Thanks for watching and enjoy your ride!

It even appears lighter and more "bouncy" in the video.

It is lighter and very easy to throw around in the tight curves which makes it a lot more fun.

That's I thought too. But, it looks like it handles great!

It does handle great in the curves than the heavier bikes. It also has a lower seat height so shorter people can flat foot both feet on this bike.

Still pretty respectable even for it's size.

It is still plenty fast with a top speed of 175mph so is way more than any speed limit on the street. It is way easier for smaller stature people to ride whether male or female. I feel a bit cramped on a 600cc. Besides I love the liter bike power. 😄

My z125 can totally beat your bike... Well at gas mileage...

You certainly have me beat there. I would love a z125 with a 250 or 300cc engine. The fuel injected 300cc would be perfect and has been swapped into a Honda Grom before. With that much power it would be easier to ride at freeway speeds on a small bike. 🏍
