Why take care of your body and mind before taking care of your soul?
Self-care can have many different meanings. For me, it means making sure I don't lose my edge. It's about giving myself a chance to recharge before being able to give back to others.
Here are some ways to practice self-care:
Exercise at least 4 days a week. Find an activity you enjoy and keep yourself motivated.
Drink lots of water.
Get 8 hours of sleep every night.
Eat well and avoid alcohol.
Do something creative - read a book, paint, listen to music, etc.
Have a massage or acupuncture appointment.
