It is during the white nights that St. Petersburg is permeated with a romantic mood, townspeople and guests forget about the everyday fuss and briefly become dreamers. Against the backdrop of white nights, the famous ensembles, palaces, temples, bridges, monuments and fences of the city not only amaze with appearance, but also create an internally unforgettable feeling of fairy-tale and unreality when it seems that all desires will be fulfilled.

White nights are a very common natural phenomenon, which is observed in many cities around the world. But only St. Petersburg received the symbolic name "City of White Nights", largely due to literature. Suffice it to mention the poetry of Alexander Pushkin and the novel by F. M. Dostoevsky "White Nights."
