I was talking with somebody someday and he said he will not waste his time going to school achieving degree. He was like driving the point that degrees are probably useless to him to consider wasting time on and that not until he acquire degrees before he can be succeasful in life.
My question is that is he right?

It depends. That's why each person has to do the research for themselves, from inner inquiry to outer efforts to clarify this. What is right for one person may be wrong for another.

I feel that I was really lucky that I did not choose to pursue a Master's Degree for many of the reason you state. I really could not afford it and the reality was that the experience I was gaining from my job was being the best schooling I could have imagined. I was also working for entrepreneurial spirits that did not even have a college degree yet were able to setup up big businesses. They let me be by their side while I was 22-23 years old and just listen... That was my best education!
