Together, they are committed to reviewing effective models for change and implementing actions that demonstrate results.”

This year’s events also include the “Go Yellow” campaign to raise awareness of and reduce the stigma associated with mental illness. The association says local community partners, businesses and organizations will hold special events and training seminars.

On Tuesday, September 12 there will be a panel discussion at Walkerville Collegiate called “13 Reasons Why Not”, a play on the title of the hit Netflix series “13 Reasons Why” about a teenaged girl who takes her own life after experiencing bullying and sexual assault.

On Saturday, September 16 at Average Joes, the association presents Music4Minds Joins Cainerfest.
