What would you like to know about Parenting?

As I’m about to write my new post, a question comes to my mind:

How do I write posts that are really useful for my Steemians?

And answer was really simple:

Just ask! ;-)

So I’m starting with a new experiment: a AMA (Ask Me Anything) about Psychology and Mind.

How does it work?

Really simple:

  1. you ask me here in the comments
  2. after 7 days from the publication of this post, I take your questions and decide them into topics
  3. then I reply in new posts mentioning the related people, so you get notified when your answer is out

Who are you? Why should I ask to you?

I’m Ivan Ferrero, Psycologist, Educator, Therapist.
I’ve been working with children and teenagers from 17 years.
Since 2000, I help parents to deal with their children, and children to deal with their Life.
I work in private both at my office and online.
I also work with schools, social services and no-profits.
You can check my full profile on LinkedIn.

Do I need to upvote this post in order to get answered by you?

Not at all!
While your upvote is highly appreciated, you don’t need to upvote this post in order to get answered by me.

Is it a professional service?

While I answer from my professional know-how and experience, my answers here don’t replace a dedicated professional service.
If you need a personalised service please ask a professional in your area, or message me on Telegram at IvanPsy (Discord solution coming soon).

Is it a one time event?

This is the first episode of a series: if you like it and find it useful I’ll make it on regular schedules.

what a great initiative! I don't have kids, but maybe I'll have questions on future topics =)

@evecab probably I'll have another generic AMA next week :-)

This is really nice man! Same as the other folks that commented not yet a parent but being a Psychologist in the house for sure there's a lot of things that you can share to us in the future.

@tpidkai there will be for sure.
Still analyzing what you need the most. :-)

Wow that's a great initiative. Not a parent though but maybe when there's another question I can ask about I'll ask away.

@artgirl thank you for the feedback, a really precious one.
It makes me realise I should have asked for something more general as first test, something like “AMA about Psychology”.
Anyway it’s just the first of a series: maybe next post will cover a broader topic.

You were talking about this and I am happy that you have it published.

A lot of people, myself included, feel dejected when we create a good article and hardly get any comments aside from upvotes. I know it is wrong to place your success in the number of followers and comments that you get but like Simon Sinek said Social media is the latest drug that we have that is not regulated.

How do we stop ourselves from feeling bad?

Wow @maverickinvictus what a nice and complex question! :-)
It’s a good topic for more than a long format article.
We could talk about the lie behind the social networks, but not only, as these platforms are just the tools by which we express our feelings and our struggles, though each platform affects our mood and behaviour because of its specific UX and UI design.
I take note of your question: it will take some time to reply appropriately, and I’ll get you notified.

I sure will dantelize this post...

Dante is here,No Fear

Thank you for your endorsement! I appreciate.

What if I'd like your opinion on a somehow psychology related post of mine, would that be okay?

@artgirl indeed it’s ok, and it will be a honour.
Just mention my nick, and I’ll get a notification on my Steemify.
See you soon then!
