Green Grows the Morning

Tiger lilies blooming in the front, tiny tomatoes budding in the back, vines along the fence, and green grows bright come the dawning of another day. Inside, the coffee brews upon the stove, the pen still sits upon the half filled page, and the screen is silent for a change. The birds alone the only sound except the words that unexpected escape my breath, "I am a humane being." Green trees obey the wind, and share a greater message. So much to see and listen to once morning now the day.
