Very unusual topic and I never came across anyone who would discuss this issue. It does surely sound like SF movie :)

First of all, do you believe in aliens?

I already love that question. I wonder how many people out there do believe in "aliens". World seem to be huge and for that reason many seem to believe that we're not alone out there.

But at the same time we must ask ourself a question: do we believe that human race has a chance to survive? That it will not vanish in the nearest generations? With all tech advancement and growing populations we may assume, that life on earth will not last forever.

So let's say that humans ruled this world for few thousands of years. How much longer do we have before we will be all gone? Is there any chance that we would colonize other planets before that happen?

Let's assume that entire humar race has only few thousands of years total from the moment when we developed some basic tools till moment when it's all over. Similar scenario would probably affect "aliens". Civilizations would grow and collapse. And what could be the chance that two different intelligent civilizations would exist around the same time?

Winning lottery would be more likely to happen :) Anyway I think I drifted a little bit from main topic.

Could religions collapse before the arrival of extraterrestrials to our planet?

Definetly for majority of people it would be a shock. And I wonder how would church (as a huge well organized structure) react. That could be the biggest challenge for them. But at the same time I can forse even more people praying and turning their heads into religion.

After all it's very easy to scare population and control it with fear. And wouldn't presence of "aliens" provide them with very efficient tool, to scare and control masses?

Such an intriguing post..truly enjoyed reading your article.

To be honest, I believe in rationalism more than faith alone...Am not saying, there's no God or anything..but to believe in it, I need to have some legitimate proofs or, at least some rational explanations.

I mean.., why not?

On one hand, we (humans) claim to be the smartest of all the life forms exists and on the other hand, we tend to believe in something, which we can't see at all or even proof it's existence.

Moreover, the discovery of extraterrestrials is not just an idle fantasy..Many philosophers and scientists all over the world prooved their existence or at least provided with some analytical explanations regarding their existence.

Stephen Hawking once said,
"The idea that we are alone in the universe seems to me completely implausible and arrogant," he said.

"Considering the number of planets and stars that we know exist, it's extremely unlikely that we are the only form of evolved life."

And I guess, may be, this discovery may temper our religious beliefs in a good way...

I agree with what you say. And I like that you support a positive version of the influence extraterrestrials would have on religions.

Maybe it will make us reflect on the premises that we know as "truths". But not for bad, but to be more humble in front of a vast universe, maybe it will broaden our thinking to understand a new concept of God.

Aliens also exist in other countries. If you are a foreigner in another country then you are considered an alien. Hahaha kidding aside, majority of the bloggers here on Steemit except for the bots believed in aliens as well. It requires a great amount of imagination, creativity and strong principles to believe in such beings to exist. Very interesting, I am a Christian and believe that there is an alien, we can not even know the size of the universe, and there is a certain logic in thinking that yes it would be possible for the divinities to be alien to the miracles of Jesus could be done with technology

The ancient Vedic texts of India written thousands of years ago talk of alien life on numerous planets in the cosmos and some are higher than us and some lower culturally. Some are seen as godly and live for thousands of years compared to us and the priests were once able to invoke them but those days are gone, lost in the mists of time.

Hi there everyone!

This post stimulated my senses to the sixth level.

Though I am not against to any opinions but I would like to cite my own opinion on this matter.

First, I believe in a supreme God who has the Ultimate plan for all His creation. Life itself needs that perfect balance in order for it to exist. A change to its exact formulation even a single digit in scale, life will never be possible. That's why I believe that there is a master planner for all of this - God. As for the aliens' existence, I would say this is possible but these beings, I believe, were spirit beings whom have fallen for their rebellion to God together with Lucifer as their leader. Some of them dropped into the bodies of water and became mermaids, some on land and became fairies, dwarfs and elves, and those who were dropped on the outer space and other planets eventually became as the extraterrestrial beings as what we call them. Because they were punished and cursed by God they became deformed and ugly creatures.
Well, that's my stand on this topic.

There is another user who also commented about the rebellion of the angels against God and originated life on other planets. Do you know where I can find out about that rebellion and why it happened? I refuse to believe that an "understanding God" could not mediate the situation and had to end up in rebellion. Also, escape from the kingdom of God? How? it is part of everything we see and don't see.

It is found in the book of Enoch. It's an ancient manuscript that has all the revelation about the spirits (fallen angels) and the origin of there rebellion and their fall.
We are living in the flesh, but there are still lots of unseen forces invisible for human eyes but things beyond human comprehension but actually exist and generally affects the humans existence and daily living - the spirit realm.
For what can be seen by the human eyes are only temporary but those unseen are eternal.
Well that's my own point of view according to all knowledge I've gained in my personal readings.

Got a little doubt with regards to the above sentence.

If that be the case, they must have attacked our humanity in order to destroy the earth, which is the magnificent creation of the Almighty, but it hasn't happened. I am specifically asking this question because they don't have enough power to attack the Almighty.

I am asking this question taking the logical point of view into consideration and nothing more than that. Please clarify.

The major rule for the spirit realm is respect of authority. And these fallen angels still knows that law of all spirit beings and each of them has their own rankings. God has placed a boundary for them so that they cannot surpass the realm of us humans. But since these spirits are very cunning, they lure us humans to disobey God's commandments by committing sins, and through this that covering from God will be broken and eventually will give them access to attack us spiritually.
How do these spirits attack us spiritually?

Giving us diseases
Making our lives miserable
Indulging humans into immortality, addiction in any form, violence, hatred and all evil actions. All these they do for one purpose: to destroy the very creature that God created in His own image - humans. By this, the devil is able to make his vengeful plot against God.

Very interesting post. I think there is a significant flaw in the premise though as it doesn’t consider the element of time. In cosmic terms, humanity has barely been in existence, and will become extinct.

Time and existence is forever though. There is near certainty of life on other planets, but it doesn’t mean they will exist at the same time as we do, or in any proximity near enough for any of us to recognize the others presence.

I don’t think this would impact religious beliefs even if it did occur, as the same could be said about evolution or carbon dating. Faith finds a way to persist due to culture, norms and uncertainty regarding the unexplainable.

I hadn't thought of that. However, some scriptures assure the coming of higher beings earlier, many years ago, so I think they existed long ago.

I enjoyed your article, I also enjoyed watching Star Wars, Men in Black, Transformers, Mars Attack, and E.T. movies, these movies are box office hits.
I suppose we humans are very much entertained with the possibility or impossibility of these Extra Terrestrials.
Although I wonder how these films were conceptualized as if they were real.
I also enjoy reading and watching conspiracy theories as they call it,
like who created the great pyramids, the origin of Annunaki,
the chariots of the gods, you name it, it drives my imagination.

Touch them or talk to them no.I have seen them, in heaven.
Some friends have a family cottage.
One night we saw very clearly a ship landing on the mountain. Then we went in the morning to the place where we saw the lights the night before and we saw traces on the ground. Melted stones.

It should be noted that we know these mountains very well since we had been expeditions there for years. Those melted stones were not there before.

That is the most forceful proof. There are those rocks. Nobody will be able to move them from that place.

On many other occasions we also managed to see the lights landing. Always during the night.

At that time we did not have devices.

Never more uimos for there. Currently access has changed and is more difficult. But those rocks are there. I only had to make that trip up there and bring cameras or telephones to document.

I believe it has been shown mathematically that there is a high probability of intelligent life in the Universe, besides mankind. That said, we still do not have definitive proof. Most of the people who claim to have had contact are certifiable lunatics. When one makes an incredible claim, it is incumbent they provide incredible proof. If they do arrive on the front lawn of the Whitehouse, so their existence cannot be denied, I am confident the religious fundamentalists will continue to deny they exist and claim it is a government conspiracy to attack their faith. Well, you did send in a memo so I might as well heed the call of the wild to check upon it...

So we are dealing with a hypothetical situation, which we are already grounded upon a metaphysical arrival in a tension-wide World. I like that type of situation; yet let's get to the first set of questions.

I only know one religion (two if you count Neo-Confucianism as a religion) group that would basically modify but remain the same in content and form: Buddhism. The Abrahamic religions will be fractured six ways from Sunday, at least the fundamentalist strains. (Islam, particularly more for Sunni and less for Shi'iate Islam, will have a funny course of modifications; yet they are part of the Abrahamic religions and shall be modified nonetheless).
Particularly me: I couldn't care less if a God Alien or a normal LMAO green small alien came up to me or to the doorsteps of the World's Capitals. I accept that they could exist but we have yet to make contact to know each other's existence truly. So the question's answer would be: indifferent.
Just look above: I am indifferent to them existing or not existing.

Now this is an interesting set of statements, one from an existentialist line (more Jean-Paul Sartre), one to talking about the demystification of Science which allowed Science to start demystifying the World, one of the extraordinary claim people (who need extraordinary evidence) and one about us not truly knowing if we can validate these theories truly. BUT MORE QUESTIONS!!!! FEED ME MOAR!!!!~ :p

My only answer is: will it matter? Never mind that souls take on different contexts under different religions, but that souls are highly debated even in theological spaces. Them being here will definitely through a monkey wrench to the discussion and we'd have to make new categories for theology and the philosophy of religion to figure out.
Let the theologians and philosophers banter that about; but they are already figured it to be an automatic yes by the inclusion of them being in a different plane of reality whenever they left the Earth.
Religiously, I only leave that to a God to decide. But I care not for a God to exist; if God Godself existed, cool I shall shake the hand of God; if God Godself doesn't, then into the empty Void shall my carcass go.
That's going into bounds of metaphysicality that the Second World Theory bitched on about with water and its molecular compound being possibly similar to a possible molecular composition on Planet X with molecules XYZ being the Planet X equivalent to H20. However, this is the bounds of metaphysical thinking that needs a fleshing out a rigourous dialectical exploration.

Yay, stats! I love 'em! And it is possible that oral history had been manipulated by writers seeking out their brand of a written religion; this is most certainly true when it comes to the Bible and Emperor Constantine censoring and making propaganda of heretics of those that had written those parts of the Bibile in. So it only is the case that alien civilizations decided to take a small pitstop, which turned into oral history which later got written down and twisted by society until we get to today where you are asking the question of them possibly being here. Infinite possibilities in the metaphysical World. Anyways, MOAR QUESTIONS!!!!~ :p

I already gave thoughts above on that possibility. So I shall use this to talk about this post being a good hypothetical post but also being a conversation starter post. I like it, good for "coffee" talk - despite me despising coffee.
Well if the material conditions betters, we can see a plummet on religious people; yet institutional religion will be a tough nut to crack and will have to be in the hands of the laymen before they disappear. And this will be especially true if ETs don't decide to crash into our planet and waddle on it!~

I shall share my opinions again: it would be cool to see them but I shall remain indifferent to the arrival of aliens; for sure it will change the Superstructure (Culture and Ideology) of every society and it might have a rammifying affect on the Economy due to how people take the event.

On the topic of religions, I do like what carnedes.org is doing right now when he goes and explain the philosophical terrain of religions.

In my Biology class, the question, "if alien exist always pop out"!

My common answers is:

1st: up to now there is no ET enrolled in our school, nor some declared in a noontime shows an alien participating in their games.
Why arent they coming out? Maybe there is REALLY NO ALIEN OUT THERE!

2nd: If i told you that there are really aliens that exist among us, who roam our planet, and we are visited by numerous aliens from the past, and (jokingly) I also came from the sky, then what will you do? Will your faith in God differs, will you not panic? will you still be interested to go to school?go to your church, what will you feel?

As I process the discussion:
Saying on the class
The question of existence is just a mental experiment.
Its your conscious knowledge and its acceptance will matter if the truth came out.
And the continue valuing life and our species matters to these aliens too.
How can they treat us an equal lifeforms if we dont love our own.
If they are really the gods of the ancient, will you are ready to listen?
Will you protect the Earth now that aliens do not exist, or you will protect the earth knowing they do?

My students have no follow up questions, the bell rings.

I really like to entertain those kind of questions, somehow they are quite satisfied.

It is one of the classes that I liked the most, too interesting because we studied our environment, our composition, the theory of evolutionism. Also that theory of spontaneous generation, which gave me a lot of laughter. Animals, bacteria, so many important things that matter covers.

I'm glad you're putting the minds of your students to work, that they're somehow prepared to deal with change. A very rigid society tends to cease to exist.

If your beliefs are more or less in sync with rationality. New discoveries or alien nations or intelligent planets would not be more than a speed bump- an anomaly which can be integrated or explained. If your belief system is not capable of encompassing the truth of physical laws and measurable effects then it is flawed.

Some things which beliefs address such as happiness and peace and spirituality and social well-being which may physically be not quantifiable- these may not be in opposition to scientific thinking. Man needs to be both a social and rational to live a full life.

I'd really like to hear your opinion on this. Those of you who like me, open to the supernatural and hoping that someday we may see extraterrestrial life.

Of course I believe in the supernatural! I believe in the existence of a spiritual world. Of everything that was written, said and recorded about extraterrestrial life, there was no clear evidence that could prove the existence of beings from another planet (At least I do not know). No doubt that the appearance of alien beings would change the way of thinking not only of the religious, that would be a fact that would shock the whole world regardless of their ideology or religion. But to be honest, I do not think that will happen someday.

Personally, I don't believe aliens exist. Christians, Muslims, Buddhist who believe in Jesus, Mohammed and Buddha respectively, do so as a result of the extraordinary things they did here on earth. They're not seen as aliens.
Of course, human beings are special and unique. But I don't see religion collapsing as a result of extraterrestrials arriving in our planet cos I don't believe it exist.

By chance, I recently caught a youtube video where a man named Michael Tellinger was speaking on all sorts of science related subjects, the bible, history, etc. I don't know how much of what he said is factual, but the items I checked (regarding the amount of water in space, etc) were true and the NASA sources cited were legitimate. There were parts of his talk where he used scientific discoveries as a means of explaining how otherwise questionable stories in the bible(Giants? Could the flood have really happened to wipe them out?) might not be so far fetched. He touches on Aliens. You might find it interesting. I do believe in aliens. I grew up in a faith where the basis is the Bible. From what I understand, there is great controversy in heaven, war between good and evil. Satan and his followers were banished from heaven. Before coming to Earth, they went planet to planet but Earth was the place they were "accepted" or sin was allowed.

Therefore, there are other beings in other planets and universe aside from us Earthlings. They could be the same like us physically because were created just like God is.

If there are aliens, then that would be an affirmation of that belief. However, we still don't know anything. Everything is just an assumption.

I don't have anything to say about your other queries but surely many would question their beliefs.

Satan and his followers were banished from heaven. Before coming to Earth, they went planet to planet but Earth was the place they were "accepted" or sin was allowed.

The fact that they traveled from planet to planet indicates that there was a means of transport and that they could possibly survive other environments. Interesting.

Well @theironfelix said pretty much everything there can be said on the way the religious would receive it . most Pagan religions would not change or be disturbed by it as "other realms" have always been a part of the general narrative.

As for the soul question if we have souls they will have them too ... if there is life after death and some eternal spark it lives in us all ...not only one species on an insignificant rock.

As for do the question if I believe that there is life out there, the answer i yes. i mean we already know that some asteroids carry the components of life and some even believe to have found bacteria from outer space (they just could not be sure as the samples were contaminated) . As for intelligent life it would be mathematically highly improbable if we were the only ones. the question is are they rock bound like we are or are they more advanced.

As for how they would look seriously anything goes. i mean look at the diversity of life on this here rock and quantify it by billions ...

This is an interesting thought-provoking article where you have linked aliens with religion. I don't think that the discovery of aliens will happen after religions cease to exist because I believe that they existed before and still do exist now.

Moreover, my religious scriptures do mention that there are other worlds apart from the Earth and there is life in every world. Some of the worlds and inhabitants are higher and superior compared to us, humans and some are lower. Even if I am not a believer of my religion, I think it is a little arrogant for us to claim that the entire universe exists for us alone although we inhabit only a single planet of the universe.

I would love to read the responses to your article from different groups of people because it is fascinating to know different perspectives and beliefs. So I will follow and check this post from time to time. I wish there is an option to save it but it is alright :)

The fact is anything visible in space or skies that might be deemed "unidentified" is simply hidden human technology not revealed to the masses. It has existed for decades (perhaps millenium!). Given my personal belief of EvoKreationism (which I really should get around to finally explaining), I have no doubt whatsover that both alien species and alien gods exist. As to whether or not they visit us? I don't really care. I know that magic is absolutely real, though poorly understood.

The real question isn't whether or not there is alien life, because given the laws of physics, life is practically inevitable, under the right circumstances. The survival of that life, to a level at which it could possibly start interacting with other solar systems, is by no means guaranteed; or even likely. The jury is still out on whether or not higher reasoning functions will drive the human species to extinction, for instance. There have been thousands of wildly successful Earthly species that were so good at devouring their environment that they eventually starved to death, due to geographical isolation.

Humanity will probably shit it's collective pants for about a week, then go back to arguing on Shitter; because stupid.

The theme of the aliens is very interesting. Much has been said and much more will be said.

Religion is your curse. I can't help but think that you may just be very religious to want to fight for the savior of entities we are only speculating may exist. Your final comment gives it away as you talk from your point of view or background.

You are not who you think... You are your past experience. Everything you encounter changes you.

Why should we presume the world to be nearly close to what you imagine if everything you consume is controlled?

It is impossible that it does not exist.

There is no logical reason why it can not be true. On the contrary all the sensible explanations (without religious ties) that we can imagine, will conclude that it is possible that there is life on other planets.

Related to this fascinating topic we will find two aspects. Only two: Those who believe in this and those who do not.

What would happen if...

We would have people who were right and were considered atheists, insane. We would also have other people who said they were right but were wrong.

Of course this would cause great alarm in the population.

Governments considered "world powers" would try to take advantage of this.

Very intriguing topic indeed. Amidst the vastness of this universe I believe that there are other life-forms out there. They do have certain body mechanisms to survive the harshness of the environment extremities for sure to survive. There have been explorations done by our scientists to satisfy their hunger for truth but unfortunately, our technology isn't enough yet to show the results.

If the ET landings is really true then they really have an extreme advanced technology to be able to reach out and land over to Earth. For the mean-time while our scientists were still not yet able to make any contact with anybody out there then we should just focus on our own problems here and immerse ourselves in what our technology can offer.

If we make ourselves too focused on the thought of finding life on other planets or galaxies, it's gonna be too much time will be wasted, a lot of imagination and burst of brain cells would be involved. This diverts our attention to the real world we should need to focus on.

If these so-called aliens doesn't want themselves to get known then why should we bother digging much about them.

If they are able to survive the extreme harshness of the environment outside Earth then that makes them really supreme beings. This definitely affects our religion and our major beliefs that there are no other beings created by God according to his likeness. Who created those beings then? This is a great question that would bother all of us. Focus to what's more important rather than generating a futile argument that could just waste our time, energy and sanity. It is true that there are many other problems that require our full attention. And I suppose many people don't agree with the space explorations being conducted by NASA and other institutions around the world. They spend too much money creating spacecraft and stations off the planet.

Man (and woman) cannot help wondering about their origin and I suppose that expanding our minds to new paradigms such as space travel and knowledge of the vast universe, is what has evolved technology and human thinking. And of course, we can't avoid to ask ourselves: are we alone?

Thanks so much for the response. It just crossed my mind and led me into thinking, are these explorations just a big scam? They could probably hire good programmers who worked for the top of the charts movies just to create a scene that they are actually doing these explorations and get all the funding they could have. and it costs Billions of Dollars which came from the pockets of taxpayers. Darn!

Another thing, I guess it's what we call faith. We believe about their existence without even being proven. And it also calls the same thing with our faith to God being tested. His existence was not yet proven as well but we do believe in Him.

This is another fascinating question throw up by the prompt, especially with silent aliens. I feel like initially, there would be a loss of membership among organised religion, followed by a re-uptake/influx of new members as preachers found ways to reconcile the two. Or maybe even a boom in religion world over! In fact, putting my money on the table.

We would have religious splintering, as organisations argued about how to interpret it, this brakdown in unity would lead to a splitting of power, and ultimately a void caused by uncertainty, as those who once identified as - for example X, now feel torn between Xa (stating their god also created the aliens), Xb (the aliens were what they called god) and Xc (god made us, but not aliens, therefore we are superior). Some would gain popularity, others would fizzle out, but in the end... there would only be one...

This is hilarious and quite on point. We fabricate religions to justify our lack of understanding in the world around us, and the first religion (current or new) to justify their existence will probably be the one to take over.

Of course, it also depends on where these aliens are first encountered with mass exposure. Was it Mexico or the Middle East? Well the US will probably deem them bad and say they are agents "against God" and we'll try to blow them up. Anywhere else and we'll probably think they have something they can offer us.

If aliens did make contact then it would be the end of religion as we know it. Although science and education are going a long way of dispelling these fables that are causing great hardship on the world at the moment. The negative side of this is that the world's social structure would break down causing looting and vigilantism. Even though I find it hard to believe that a man in a white beard is looking upon me, I do belive for a childs upbringing religion has its place. The difference between good and bad is still something to learn and religion places a big part in setting up a childs belief system early in life. Once they get to be a teenager they can make their own mind up. That is what I believe anyway. ET coming down would be devastating for religion across the globe.

You do make a point. But if you say religion is only required to inculcate early morals in a child, then it might as well be very useless, especially seeing that the very nature of religion is based on faith instead of proofs. Are kids being manipulated to be good, only for them to make up their minds on whether they want to stay good or not when they hit puberty?

Faith is important. It's what believing that the girl you like the most will really want to go out with you or it's what makes you believe that things will work out no matter how difficult a situation is.

If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything ...

Are kids being manipulated to be good, only for them to make up their minds on whether they want to stay good or not when they hit puberty?

I don't see it as manipulation, I see it as teaching. After they have grown up, they will decide whether or not they agree with what they have learned. Anyway, the inquisitive nature of the human being always superimposes itself.

Besides, this generation has an advantage that had none in more than 2000 years: the Internet.

A very interesting topic .

I have heard it said by people I know that if interplanetary travel was to become possible that it would destroy religion.

So the evidence of life on other planets would definitely change the way some look at religion.

However for me if the world was made by a god or gods then isn’t it plausible that they made the universe also ?

In Babylon 5 a sci fi tv series, they had a few episodes from memory that touched on this .
One was about why one of the characters still believed in religion and another was when an alien no one had seen before was seen in public for the first time without its environmental suit. Everyone who saw it saw the god they believed in.

So it is a subject a lot have obviously thought on and the closer we get to space travel the bigger this discussion will become.

How it will pan out I have no idea . But the human race is resilient and I believe we will be fine .

I guess we will just have to wait and see.

I was never interested in that Babylon 5 TV series, I'm gonna have to look for it and keep an eye on it. That's the second comment I've heard about it. I'm more in love with Star Trek series (all of them), Star Wars, Star Gate and others that weren't so famous.

Everyone who saw it saw the god they believed in.

Imagine the surprise it would be if we discovered that our deities to whom we pray were actually extraterrestrials. Although that wouldn't affect me, if we can be fans of Linkin Park, Manson, and other human beings; being worshippers of alien entities wouldn't affect at all, from my point of view.

But I could bet it would be a hard blow to humanity.

Everything depends on the attitude how you decide to take situations, that's why you don't have to have rigid mentalities and be flexible like palm trees, which bend when hit by strong winds but withstand calamities without breaking completely.

I have always done the incognita since childhood on this subject, but I came to the conclusion that if there is a superior being, I do not know if this is God of the Catholic Church (which I believe) or another entity.

Regarding the struggle of the church and other organizations, since ancient times it has been seen how the church turns a blind eye to what they do not like and is one of the most charitable organizations and in turn, I really believe in God but not in the church, I was never attracted to go to church even though I studied in a Catholic school I saw many news of corrupt acts and I apologize for getting away from it.

I think that if this happened in a case they would refute everything and the prayers would increase to a degree that was never seen, since humanity is mostly used to resorting to God only to ask and I do not know if these entities are a God or simply civilizacioes with an intellect and technology superior to ours, since those pyramids with the technology that counted in the antiquity would be almost impossible to build and less in the period that says the ancient writings.

I was never attracted to go to church

The problem is that many bad things have happened in those institutions. I am against priests being celibate, that is to say, not being able to have a partner. That's unnatural. God created both sexes for a reason.

I think the theme that planets is really interesting, has not only been an inspiration for my science fiction stories, but also philosophical thoughts, existential doubts, and many imaginary scenarios.

I would like to quote the following:

The truth is that, the truth does not have anyone until now, it is difficult to know, but even so it is an exciting subject for millions.

If we were to interact with any of these beings, all the bases of our religious beliefs would be weakened. We would be confused, waiting for information, and reviewing past writings ... Personally I think that we are not ready yet, even so I want it to happen as long as I live.

That is the main reason for this post, to awaken the imagination, to open the mind and to make us more creative and aware of the world around us.

Personally I think that we are not ready yet, even so I want it to happen as long as I live.

I was commenting down below about that. We may not be ready to establish contact with aliens and I believe that if they do exist, they would also be sure of them. They would wait for us to evolve into a less aggressive and more peaceful species in order to contact us.

We cannot go to mars and you think they can come here from so big distance? Near by us there is nothing, near i mean less than 100 light years, it means one entire life at light speed (!!!) is not enough to go out from our galaxy...

You're right, the distance could be another problem. Maybe they came thousands of years ago, but given the distance from their natal planets, a return would take thousands of years more. Maybe that's why we don't see any evidence of them.

Interesting question. I think many religions would survive contact. Within the Christian Faith's of which I'm most familiar, the existence of aliens isn't ruled out and they are welcome to become Christian. We might even be the monk planet. Assuming the aliens look somewhat like us, it's not hard to extend "made in his image" to them too. However, even if the aliens look totally different many sects could accept them: remember that for many Christian sects, Israelites are god's chosen people but somehow Christian inherit that upon conversion. An alien could also convert.
The pagan religions could survive too, but might need some adjustments to account for other beings - but must pagan faiths are fine attaching to local phenomena and leaving the rest unexplained.
I'll leave the commentary on Brahmic thought to others more knowledgeable. Western new-agers would find the adjustment easy imo. So would atheists.
Of course, the aliens might bright their own beliefs too.

You know, there is many evidence through whole history that aliens exist and may have created us. The Sumerians were telling about star people who made man to dig gold for them. And the entire South America had legends of star people...

By the way humans have reserved place with many privileges regardless of their religion. We actually do play critical role in preservation (and destruction) of the whole planet . I believe in god and creationism (not the bible or quran version). I believe that some kind of conscious intelligence created life. And if god created earth, life and humans, what prevents him/her/it from making another race somwhere far away?

I am in favor of believing that earthlings are extraterrestrials or we were left on Earth by them because we are the only species that damage their environment forever, that extinguishes creatures, that damages its own species for reasons far from surviving or defending itself. No other species want to destroy the world where it exists.

Religions have already collapsed. Look what happens with the scandals relating to the Christian church, the escalating wars between the different factions of Judaism and the contempt that the modern civilisation feel towards the Islam.

Let's talk about human behavior. We, tend to believe in everything that we think we know, but we, wouldn't believe in anything that we don't know. If there's alien, I believe they have no interest in earth, quote from "Ironhide" from transformers, "might as well call it dirt". Earth is just way too tiny for the aliens to believe we post a thread.

Back to distance, warp speed idea has been introduced for donkey years, instead of going forward, we expand and bring time towards us. Haven't anyone thought of, if time brought forward to us, what we expelled from behind? Meaning to said, after we moved forward, there will be a problem tracking back. We may be going for 1 light year, spend some time there at that planet, then we come back 1 light year later, earth probably exploded already. The only thing that does not change is the "time" a person spent in time bending.

This bring me to my 3rd and last point. Religion is what we believe, supreme being that does things human can't. So, is Superman a religion? He can fly around earth orbit counter clockwise and turn back time, now what happen to Thanos?

I feel I'm lost: A light year measures distance not time, right? I suppose you mean boarding Earth during the time it takes to travel a light year? (I'm still lost)

It's not a discussion anyway. I'm glad you took the time to reply. For the light year, distance and time concept, you need to dice in "what is warp speed". YouTube got many useful information about it. But I will try to explain with my best ability here.

Why is it call light year, not kilometer per hour, or mile per hour? It is because, the distance measured is traveling at the speed of light for 1 year!

Pictures we captured from the telescope is light years away. Which means, we're probably "looking" at something "happened" many billion years "ago" in earth "time".

Since it's impossible to travel across galaxy with the limited "time" earth people have, we came up with a theory of warp speed. By using antimatter. World beings are matter, which means u throw and apple, it fly out. And antimatter apple is, u throw it, it fly backwards. 😂😂😂 How is it possible? Again it's too long story for me to explain, but scientist already managed to create antimatter material.

So, instead of travel the distance(lightyear), we bend the time and bring time closer to us 🙂 I understand it's confusing, because that's what the scientist does, they found something this far, and we people are expected to take them all as whole truth.

And, my saying of go to a planet a lightyear away, spend one year there and come back. That's exactly the telescope concept. Because we need to travel so fast to reach that place, time become irrelevant. People on earth probably still seeing the planet from many years ago. You, spend a year build an empire there, but people on earth can't see you, because in earth time, probably our life time will not be able to see u land on that planet. By the time u travel back to earth, probably my great grandkids will be expecting you 😂😂😂

Maybe you don't believe in E.T. but I'm sure you must believe that in such a big universe there must be living planets as well, as much or more advanced than us.

There are many theories about the E.T., that they are from the same planet earth, that they come from outside, that they are the same gods we worship, everything. But none of these theories have certified proof that it is true.

Greetings @jadams2k18 come here thanks to the recommendation of @crypto.piotr. I start by saying that the last thing I kill is that you literally made my day (thank you for that), without offending, as it would be something like that since it is something that characterizes them (being insistent in transmitting the word) ... Returning to the subject, I think that if these extraterrestrials come to have to rethink many things and it is because although believers create or suppose the existence of these in the vast universe in which we live, in the texts (at least the Catholics), I remember that they mention something like that of an alien, ships or something similar. This topic is very extensive because if we go to theories or assumptions based on some things (such as the History programs) where all the big businessmen or successful people, or renowned throughout history were or are, or tend to be reptilian, iluminatis, etc, etc ... something that says the saying gives a lot of fabric to cut, I really liked your post, greetings

Yes! That's right. There are many theories about aliens, although none have been proven. Theories that range from the fact that they live among us to the fact that they are our very gods that we worship.

Being highly religious and a sci-fi buff, I've actually thought this a bit! It'll certainly upend some religions, especially if Jesus, Buddha, the angels and Greek gods turn out to have been ET all this while! (Check out C.S Lewis's Malacandrian series... a great read!)

However, barring that eventuality, I think most religions will respond okay. Like you said, religions have had to adapt as science evolved and they'll evolve to this too. After a helluva lot of debates!

Oh, and some new religons are sure to spark up too. Wonder how those will play out!

I would say there are no aliens but that would be me being too stoic on a viewpoint I cannot prove or disapprove. I really wouldn't want to wind up on the side of history that said something was impossible and then that same thing became possible a few years later. After all, someone said it wouldn't be possible for humans to fly, but, here we are today.

There is a possibility that Alien life does exist and I think IFF and WHEN a substantial percentage of humanity finally makes contact with them, it could change a lot of things, especially religions that believe in creationism, and the people who do not believe in extraterrestrial life nor religion.

After all, someone said it wouldn't be possible for humans to fly, but, here we are today.

They also said we couldn't go over 30 km/h because our lungs would explode! How about that? When I had a car I drove at 120 km/h and was quite slow in front of most drivers.

There is a possibility that Alien life does exist ... it could change a lot of things ...

I hope we're wrong and things don't get out of control and when the time comes, we've matured enough not to break our beliefs or faith.

Hello there! @jadams2k18 This is an outstanding question! Well here's what I think though; the existence of extraterrestrial beings on the planet is not really a bad idea but then we would have to go through the underlying stress of trying to communicate with them, know what they what, know if they actually what to co-exist with us humans on earth. Secondly, not everyone welcomes change, not everyone knows and understands the joy of having to come in contact with extraterrestrial life, so some might call it an abomination, some may even say magic and then in the case of religion they'd call it Witchcraft. Now there might also be cases that aliens are already surfacing, i do not know how true that it is but if its real then we might need to adjust our objectives to learning about them, their nature and what makes them special in other to aid human life here on earth plus it might even broaden our knowledge about the supernatural in a better and englighthened way. Thank you.

Clearly, if they wanted to kill us, we'd already been extinct. What makes me think, if they live among us, then maybe their intentions are not all bad. Maybe they try to get to know us before making a third type of contact publicly and worldwide. Maybe they know that we are not ready for that yet. You know, we're too bellicose a species: Too many wars and terrorist acts.

Perhaps we should evolve as a peaceful species first before coming into contact with other species.

Since I was invited to comment by @Crypto.Piotr and I do like and respect him a lot, also seen @JuanMolina, another brother who I also like and have respect for, no matter opinions and beliefs, I'll let here my opinion, briefly to the best of my abilities..

How would the different religions of the world respond? Would it change your beliefs?

First of all, do you believe in aliens?

Personally I don't think it would make that much of a difference to the great majority of faiths, true believers of whatever faith You might choose, dedicate their life to something bigger than life in itself, call it Allah, Jesus, Buddha, Creator, Consciousness, God, Nature, Truth, Waheguru.. And no matter what happens they'll remain devoted to "th One" for lack of better words..

My beliefs.. I don't believe in anything, and try my best to be a truthful devotee as taught by WaHeGuRu in the Sikh Path, even the teachings by the One Creator God must be put to test (His "words" not mine), and only after that, one may have faith/belief.. Forgive me if I make any mistake but this is only a bit of my understanding, Sikh means student, disciple, apprentice, hence the division even between Sikhs, the ones who defend blind faith and call it religion, and the ones who question and call it Path.. But I digress..

I used to believe in extra-terrestrial beings (and to some extent there "might be", but not from space, I'll explain a bit later how..) when I was younger, even have had what I thought of "contact" with e.t. beings, and all of that are false experiences/sensations..

Since I was 9 and after some very intense and vivid dreams about a future that is unfolding, decided to search for the truth about everything all the time, have been deceived a lot of times throughout life and followed some very dark,wrong and sinister paths, even believed in "aliens" (actually I call it e.t. because alien is another of the fictitious characters from Hollywood, also part of the mid control indoctrination/propaganda..), still I have to say that I do love everyone, no matter what their beliefs are, and still like good science fiction but take it as it is, fiction and most of the times, part of the propaganda (didn't when I was younger and it was the bigger deceit I've experienced).

After a lot of years researching about pretty much everything (even not having much, managed to learn a lot on my own and thankfully got to know a lot of older people willing to teach and grant access to a lot of books, most of them have already died.. learned to perform a couple of surgeries, and actually done them on myself, simple dermal cysts extraction, have more than 30 thousand hours in a training flight simulator, coded a couple medical applications, and a few others for the most various areas, in languages from basic to assembler, passing by java, visual basic, c/c++, xml, trained 4 different martial arts, physics and chemistry, and a lot of other things, only to find that truth can't exactly be found externally..).

Then after questioning everybody and being considered a crazy person and ridiculed for seeing the earth for what it is, knowing by testing, and for telling people that the Earth is flat (if it has a firmament, is or not an infinite plane if there are more land, that I don't know for sure but, I tend to agree that it might be an infinite plane with more land and if there are e.t.s, we have been misguided about them coming from space while they might just come from the possible lands to the South, since the North is center.. You can call me crazy now, I don't really care.. I'm just tired of seeing the state that the world is in for following the MSM narrative, the current social paradigm, created by the same ones who sold us the globe lie.. And then e.t.s got out the picture, when I learned and researched about project Bluebeam), the Moon landing being faked and humans never going into space (van allen radiation belt is still admitted by NASA to be impossible of being crossed..), Project Bluebeam, and I do think this should at least be taken into account if You believe in e.t.s, because if You never asked Yourself if You're mind controlled, You definitely are, here another view on project Bluebeam documents/patents..

Also learned a lot about MK-Ultra and all their 140+ sub-projects, add to that the study of mind control since at least 1890,(Nervous system control through Monitors, can also be found here in a different perspective yet leading to the same, Mind Control Using Holography and Dissociation, patents to voice-to-skull technology, holographic weapons of both in and outside combat..)..

Much more recently got my confirmation about BioAPI(Biological Access Programming Interface) being deployed into our atmosphere through Chemtrails/Geoengineering disguised under the also fake "Climate Change" (HAARP should also be researched for a better understanding of how it all works out..), and I don't want anyone to believe me, still, I don't also want to see the same thing happening over and over again, good people falling in the traps the 'elites' have put in place for everyone to follow and propagate themselves, I do have to state again that I really love everyone, specially in this community where I found some of the most amazing people in the more recent times, and I don't really care that You think I'm crazy, but if You really have to do it, at least do it after researching thoroughly, not following the rabbit hole, Alice fell into the hole (No, there is no gravity, still a theory, another one created by masons and jesuits, gravity is just mass/density/buoyancy renamed by New'ton [sic]..)..

Sorry about this too extensive comment, yet this does not cover "the tip of the iceberg"..

Well, don't want to bother You nor the readers with the "religion" I follow, but since it is for all mankind I'll just link the basics also some of the most important things, anyone who wants to learn a bit more about the Sikh Path may read it (to my surprise Wikipedia actually have some good descriptions)

Let me start by "translating" Waheguru, it's a word composed by 2 words of 2 syllables, 1 of the words from Persian other from Sanskrit (Wa·he from Persian Vah [e is pronouced but not written] Wa - Awe, amazement, hê - the One, Gu - Attachment to darkness, Ru - Liberation, ray of light, truth · hence Waheguru means something like, The one who causes awe bringing into light from darkness, or removing falseness with truth), and here are the links:

3 Pillars of Sikhism

Nitnem (Nitnem - Daily routine)

5 Banis (Pañj Bani - 5 recitations, or You may call them prayers to be read every morning at amrit vela, the first hours in the morning, between 3 and 6 AM ~, and a couple more to be read at evening and before going to bed, all of them compose the full Nitnem)

Hukamnama (The hymn listened every day preferably after the 5 banis, it is the daily command of the Guru, Creator, God for not only Sikhs, for the whole humanity)

About surgery, it was nothing, and is not a complicated procedure since it was for removal of dermal cysts, they are right bellow the skin, still I was a bit afraid the first time and almost threw up in the end, the second time went very easy and then never had another cyst since I've changed my diet and don't raise acidity in the body ;)

Definitely my life wasn't boring unto a point some years ago, and have had a lot of adventures but all actions and decisions come with a price and now my life is pretty much boring and I've end up being alone most of the time, my sons already do their own life and we don't live together, her mother is far and we don't even speak with each other (not that I would like to but it is what it is..)

The Earth being flat doesn't remove the North (center) and the South (turning your back to North any of the 360° are South), pretty much as the compass show, East and West are the circle lines that can be followed to the right or left when facing North.

I don't know if it is round, square, trapezoid, but I do tend to believe in an infinite plane with no end or beginning, on other hand it's possible to have some sort of circular wall, that might have portals and this part can be speculated but not taken for sure so until tested it remains for me in the realm of science fiction ^^P

Please do research about Bluebeam, you'll find out a lot more and eventually if predisposed to, You'll make your own tests and get your own evidence =D

And I forgot to say that there is still up and down, the more dense an object is in relation to the medium where it is the more it sinks (goes down), the less dense it will rise (go up), so there is still up and down, forward and backward, left and right =P (just to clear that out if I haven't done it the best way..)..

I would say that God's creation would not be limited to just one planet and maybe they could witness this. I mean is a waste of space if we're alone!

Aliens call my attention to what they can offer, a means to know the last frontier, what is beyond our planet. It is our spirit of explorer and adventurer, of knowing new things. And I guess a lot of people think like me.

Who wouldn't want to ride a spaceship like the Enterprise (Star Trek)? I suppose it's the same desire the Wright brothers felt when they wanted to cross the skies.

One thing is for sure that religions are more addictive than opium. Religious stories are nothing but a low level science fictions, though science fictions are based on some theories.
At present we don't know anything about aliens but we can say that we should not be alone in such an infinitely vast universe. Religious beliefs would suffer if we come into contact with aliens.

As I mentioned in the previous comment, God could not have left all that infinite space empty, it would be a waste. If He created thousands of creatures on this planet, couldn't He create millions on the others? (assuming that God has gender and we are going to say that it is masculine, even if the feminists get upset)

Religious beliefs would suffer if we come into contact with aliens.

I think it might suffer at first, however, reading the comments I have realized that it would survive this impact

Today we can infer, due to the technological and scientific development achieved, that the presence of extraterrestrial intelligent life in theory is possible and that perhaps they have been present in the history of humanity. The exploration of extraterrestrial life continues through radio-telescopes, but finding evidence by this means is long-term.

I do not believe that the aliens meet us openly. But I do think that they can live with us as the big brother. Will we be their experiment? Will we be their protected relatives? Shall we be their second world removed from a great disaster on their planet? Who will know the answer?

As I already mentioned in replying to some comments, I agree with you. The extraterrestrial presence may have been present in the past, orienting primitive humanity, who saw them or worshipped them as Gods. And eventually, the information was misrepresented.

My intention is not to discard or eliminate religions, as there are many who think here. It is simply, in addition to activating the imagination and opening the mind a little, seek a relationship between the two.

Well to be honest, I am not sure what my reaction would be to the existence of extra terrestrial beings. The truth is that I am also a big fan of science fiction and fantasy movies.
My belief as a Christian is that the Bible tells me that there are spirit beings like angels and demons. It also tells us as Christians that there are fallen angels among us here on Earth living amongst men. When satan and his host of rebellious angels we're cast out of heaven, they took refuge here on Earth.
If you consider this spirit beings as extra terrestrials, then yes you can conclude that the extra terrestrials are already living amongst us.
I have learned that the spiritual controls the physical.

Consider physics, history, archeology, Biblical and extra-Biblical accounts. Consider quantum physics and greater dimensions. Watch the movie 'Flatland' to understand the physics of Jesus's resurrection.

@jadams2k18 i have always had the belief that there are other things beyond this world which most humans have not really come into contact with. I can't say much but i would be thrilled if this actually happens. Can't wait to set my eyes on an alien and be imparted with all those knowledge.

I think the same about the fact that in the end, it will depend on each person's attitude when facing a change in their life.

It is not easy to adapt to changes, we are generally reluctant to changes. But as Bruce Lee says, we must be like the water that adapts to the form that contains it, if it is inside a teapot, it becomes a teapot and if it is a cup, it becomes a cup.

Will aliens have souls?

An excellent question! Reminds me of the debates when European conquerors encountered people from other continents, on whether those "indians" actually had a soul or not. It might be same with aliens from other planets. However, if they arrive here with advanced weaponry, more effective technology, and diseases that kill us but not them... then the subject of the same debate would be whether WE have a soul or not. After all, who says that space aliens won't have their own religion which they'll force upon us?

So far you're the first comment I find that asks if we have a soul. I suppose they all ignored that question because they understood that we do. I hope we do have one

I like the way you think, I see that not only do you imagine the effect on religions but also the effect on the clash of races or species. I will not go into detail yet, as I am writing a fictional story for a contest on the same subject.

After all, who says that space aliens won't have their own religion which they'll force upon us?

Generally, in the science fiction stories we see on TV or in movies, extraterrestrials are highly technological beings and never take into account whether they are religious or not. So I think their tendency to scientific-technological development overlapped the religious aspects of their lives.

It would be the last straw, also to have extraterrestrials knocking on our door so that we can be part of their way of salvation.

Thanks for the memo, this topic is very dear to me, I also love sci fi but more importantly I have studied the ancient Vedas of India, written thousands of years ago and there in a book called Bhagavat Purana, it mentions how there have always been people living on other planets, some divine or godly compared to us, with longer lifespans, and some who we may see as demonic. And the good and bad forces used to have inter-planetary wars. Sometimes they would come to earth and the priest used to know how to recite mantras to invoke them to receive blessings. However, those days disappeared when life on earth became too degraded a few millennia ago during another era in history.

So yes indeed their is alien life, it may have been seen as divine or godly by primitive humans, and the intergalactic war goes on with us in the middle. This is based on texts that are thousands of years old so we know very little about the true depth of ET life and its relationship wit us humans. They are our gods, although ultimately they and we are all from the same original source - the original "godhead" if you like, so it is a normal concept in the Vedas, the Vedic culture of India and always has been.

It is only the west that is ignorant about such celestial matters, being a relatively new religious culture, compared to the Vedic texts of India.

That's a novelty, even if it's thousands of years old. That would solve a lot of questions. I knew that the Eastern religions had some knowledge about other planets, but I didn't have details just conjectures.

We could make an entire post with this information.

wow @jadams confieso que me encanto leerte, es muy retador hacerlo, mas sin embargo creo que la idea de los extraterrestres parte de que cada quien cree lo que quiere creer. Soy Cristiana y no solo porque un dia me invitaron y acepte, sino por convicción, creo en el poder de Dios demostrado a la humanidad a través de su hijo Jesús, que no tan solo quedo alli en la cruz sino lo que eso desato, un poder que no se compara con nada natural.
Por otro lado para acercarnos a Dios debemos silenciar nuestra lógica que todo lo certifica esto es totalmente opuesto a la fe, que te lleva a ser diferente, a querer restaurar a tu familia, que forja una identidad en medio de la crisis, nos ayuda hacer luz en medio de tanta oscuridad.

I too am a huge Sci-fi fan.

What do you think? Could religions collapse before the arrival of extraterrestrials to our planet? And I am referring to those religions that define the human being as something special and that occupies a privileged place in the Universe.

How do we know that the Aliens are not already among st us or have not visited our planet in the past?

I remember watching a documentary that explored the possibility of the correlation of the building of the pyramids to the arrival of the Aliens .

Secondly the depiction of aliens in the movies is only a figment of our imagination in reality they could be very small microbial organizations or larger visible yet not to threatning blobs of mass.
So do they or could they exist.
You guess is as good as mine. However if we are the living form on this earth than there is surely the possibility of other earths like planets that can support life.
So the possibility of finding other life forms are certainly present.

That's what I'm guessing! In such an infinite universe it is impossible for us to be the only species and there are many phenomena recorded not only in many parts of the planet but also in different periods of time that indicate the presence of extraterrestrials among us.

So the possibility of finding other life forms are certainly present.

I am a Christian and do a daily scripture post on Steemit. I don't see a problem with the existence of aliens, God created the universe and could also have created aliens. Everything is not known to humans. What their place in the world would be when judgement day comes is unknown, and I won't break my head about it, although it is an interesting question.

I'm glad you have a positive and interesting thought about the existence of aliens. I agree that God created the universe and I also think that such a vast space cannot be empty. It is not typical of God. We see it around us, life rises everywhere, why shouldn't life grow anywhere else?

The important thing is to open a little imagination and have an idea of what would happen or we would do. It is a form of training that I usually do to face an unexpected situation. I know it's difficult, but many times it helps me face changes.

I have some very strong opinions on this matter. I try to look at each event from various perspectives to develop my own. Here is my take on religious figures in terms of aliens.

I don't believe Jesus and Buddha were aliens. From how I see it, they were ordinary men who did deeds of extraordinary virtue and were glorified and praised to the extent people started to worship them as Gods and exaggerate certain details.

Hindu gods were likely Aliens given the sheer number of them. It is common knowledge Hinduism is the oldest religion. I feel that a superior species visited Earth and were praised and worshipped as Gods. Finally they left and promised to return one day hence the entire "kali yuga" scenario that is described (where the world supposedly ends). These were probably created in order to keep the worship going and to make humans live in a state of fear so they do not step outside the bounds of morality.

Even if all of this is incorrect, I can say with surety there is most definitely extraterrestrial life out there. People think it is stupid to believe in aliens given the lack of evidence. If you just zoom out, it is actually naive to believe we are the sole planet with living creatures in a Universe that is so vast, it's depth can never be uncovered.

I think there is a fair chance that there may be other life forms some where out there.
Would they be intelligent being... that remains to be seen. However if they are building spaceships and indulging into galactic travel ...

I don't think human beings are special and I wonder which religion says human beings are. Only humans claim it.

Life is life to me and all life is equal and has the right to be there. On earth or somewhere else.

I am not the smartest person around to ask, but Jesus, Mohammed, etc were just ordinary people. Might be they preached, might be they didn't. There is no one alive who can prove it.

Copernicus, Galileo brought a lot of damage to the world, hate, and violence, so did all the religions. With religion, there will be no peace.

If aliens are wise they will let the humans die. Let the sun eat the earth and that is it. Humanity brought nothing good to mother earth/life.

P.s. I don't think Jehova Witnesses will knock on the door any longer.

Contrary to what you think, we're too special. We can be the murderer who ruthlessly kills his victims, who outrage them and rapes them. We can be the ones who give our lives for our fellow beings, for animals, who save entire forests, who save whales, who face war tanks with just their own body, who save more than 70 people in war without using a weapon. Those who fly beyond the speed of sound. Those of us who launch the atomic bomb, those of us who build mega-constructions, those of us who build a country and pulverize it. What other species do you know that is so special?

With religion, there will be no peace.

In your opinion, religion is not necessary? I ask you. Since very early ages, human beings have always cried out to the heavens for answers, many of them can only be answered through religions. The Orientals call my attention a lot.

I'm a Catholic by birth. I am not very religious. But I respect other religions as long as they don't force me to follow in their footsteps because they are the ones that lead to salvation.

If aliens are wise they will let the humans die. Let the sun eat the earth and that is it. Humanity brought nothing good to mother earth/life.

Does humanity deserve to be exterminated? If not it ends itself.

No jehova witness knocks on my door. They did for years but I confused them with my Bible texts. I have some friends who are and we respect eachother. They think I would be a good one to sell the religion to...

Without humans whales don't need to be saved.

It is not religion that was needed to answer questions, fears in the early, pagan days, but the unknown the searched a reason for.
Godesses are fine for me, not the present force-upon-the-troath without respect for life beings.

Men loves to think they are special.
You know dolphins and pigs are rapists too, elephants take care for eachother?
