This Must Bee Heaven

My mom has an orchard out back behind her home - the home I grew up in. This year the peach trees produced HUNDREDS of peaches. It was almost comically abundant - like something you might see in a cartoon. I visited a few days ago to help her collect the harvest. We were a few days late to the punch, as the bees had already caught the scent of sweetness! Amazing how nature makes use of itself.

These summer days out back in the woods and in the garden with my mom are fleeting and special. Nothing to do but breathe and soak it up. Waves of gratitude.
