Outside of my culinary adventures, it has been a long while since I have written anything pertaining to “my” life itself… it has also been a VERY long while, since I have had an experience like I had this morning – so I felt like sharing it.

Spiritual Experiences, Archangels or Mind Tricks...?!

These ”kinds” of experiences have been a norm for me, well… for most of my life actually – except they were not quite as “placid” as this one… yet this one, has me a little more confused than most others I have ever experienced, despite the fact that it was a lot less negative, and – well… “Demonic”.

My partner, Dave works in the events industry so it is common for my sleep to be disturbed in the early hours of the morning when he arrives home, showers and settles in. Most nights when he is working, it is a “treat” for our son Jude to sleep in our bed and then upon Dave’s arrival, he will transfer him back to his own bed.

This morning I had actually woken up prior to Dave’s arrival, which was about 4am, but had managed to doze off again – so when he did arrive, at 5.30am, I was wide awake as he came upstairs, removed Jude from the bed and then went to his “happy place” haha – his “throne”.

After which, he generally heads into the shower, but at this point we both heard Jude’s tablet booting up and then shortly after, the dead battery “beep beep” – so Dave went to go check if Jude had been disturbed by the move to his bed, but he was sound asleep. So naturally Dave entered the shower, at which point I picked up my phone, checked the current BTC and SBD price (lol… as one does haha), collected my Samsung rewards, and had a brief look at my Steemit notifications – then put my phone down and closed my eyes.

About a minute later, I became ACUTELY aware of a presence in the room, opened my eyes and turned my head to look around. Initially it was an almost “comical” response from me, one which held no fear or reservation whatsoever, because as I turned my head around, I saw a woman standing in front of my dressing table, but facing the ensuite bathroom, which is on the opposite side of the room.

She was not looking at me, but I immediately thought I recognised her. To “my mind” she was a girl I went to college with, except her hair was a lot shorter than I know this “now woman” to have. She stood there, somewhat oblivious of me, with her shoulder length blonde hair, formal PURPLE dress and this UNMISTAKABLE light shining ONLY around her! - And she was…. Um, knitting…. Haha! Yes, knitting… what appeared to be a scarf.

The reason for me saying it was initially comical, was because I was not frightened by her presence, as I thought I knew her, and so I was going to say ”Are you seriously knitting?!” in humour, but then I realised I could not speak… at which point I panicked a little… so I tried to call for David, who was now in the shower… but all that was happening was my jaw was jerking open and closed like I was having some kind of fit! I am a pretty determined individual as most who know me will testify to, and eventually I managed to get out this really non-descript “MOOOOAAAN” in the hopes that it would get Davids attention…

Sadly, lol – he thought I was just complaining about him being too noisy in the shower hahaha!!!

And then, a second later, she was gone and so was the hold on my vocal expression – although I will admit, it took me a good few minutes to gather myself enough to actually say anything coherent to David. My jaw felt like it had been “locked”. It was the most obscure feeling!

Despite the fact that this happened at 6am in the morning and I was wide awake, I would be a liar if I said that I fell asleep with ease after that. Every time I closed my eyes, I kept getting glimpses of a woman putting on red lipstick and red nail polish… it drove me crazy, until finally it let me go and I managed to fall asleep again.

When I woke up I spoke to Jude and asked him if he had turned his tablet on after David had moved him back to his bed, to which he confirmed he had not, but that he had heard his phone go on and then die.

I have had some pretty damn disturbing spiritual experiences in my life, but as I said I have not had one for a pretty long time, and I LOVE wrapping my head around a mystery / challenge… and this one, as “simple” as it is – REALLY has me thinking.

I actually sent a message to my former college mate to ask her if she knits, to which she confirms, she crochets – but I think my assumption that is was her, was more about the general physical appearance of this woman… and oddly me remembering “after the fact” that Tasha had always loved purple… which just made it all even a little weirder…

The VERY obvious light that surrounded this woman in a completely dark room is what caught most of my attention though – I have seen many a spirit stand near me and quite a few of those at night whilst in bed, but there is NEVER that kind of light around them, and such an EXCEPTIONAL mental emphasis on the colour purple!

My initial thought was perhaps Angel?

So I Googled Archangels and their associated colours…
and when looking at angels from a colour related perspective,
I came up with the Archangel

Zadkiel...

and I have to be honest in saying,
that not only did the NAME of this angel
grab my IMMEDIATE attention
for certain personal reasons -
in addition to that, upon first glance
of most "depictions" of this angel -
it definitely resonated with me,
ESPECIALLY this one....

but then again,
our minds LOVE to conveniently cooperate.... lol

I am VERY curious to get some outside input....
